Outstanding food, drinks, service, atmosphere, and overall experience! We enjoyed personable warm service by everyone and in particular by the Manager Stephen and our server Greg. We had a wonderful meal again with you. Thank you and well done on the reliably exceptional dining experience time and time again!

Our service and food were excellent, but the hotel manager was very inappropriate and chased us across the street accusing us of interviewing and recording a staff member who spoke to us while waiting for our colleague using the bathroom. The manager followed us down the street and then ran across the street to confront us. We were two women from out of town at a work meeting and I just have no words about what happened. We were frightened. I would have liked to have been reimbursed for our meal after that entire experience vs being offered a hotel stay (which we would never in a million years stay there after what happened). The restaurant manager was incredibly nice and called and apologized, but the hotel should cover our tab after that insanely inappropriate experience. And that man should be fired for what he did.

Nine-Ten is a gem in every regard save noise level. The service was impeccable and spot on. We had 4 different meals and each was presented well and delicious. Normally we dine outside however there was a private party there at the time. Outside is wonderful and much quieter. We encourage everyone to go to Nine-Ten.

The food at Nine-Ten is amazing. We had their sashimi to start and it was full of flavor and a lovely touch of acidity. We had the duck as an entree, which came with a pretty decent amount of meat, and asparagus and mushrooms on the side. I'm definitely not doing it justice in the description but it was delicious and filling. Not my favorite duck I've ever had but still tasted great. My favorite part was their half baked chocolate cake. It was the perfect cherry on top of a great meal.

We just love this place- my favortie dinner is the Hamachi starter then the Caesar gem salad and the Cacio Pepe pasta. My husband thinks the burger is amazing. Last night our friend ordered the duck and loved it too. The bar makes fabulous cocktails - a perfect martini and they have great variety on the wine list.

Food tastings were good but were just that, a “taste” only! Asparagus salad had 3 spears - $42 Cod serving was barely 3oz. Table bread was small bite size buttons, and the full order would not equal two normal rolls. Bill included a 5-10% (previously undisclosed) service fee, and after an additional ~12% tip, the waiter, openly and loudly expressed his dissatisfaction. This after what was at best C- service. I won't return!

We had such a fantastic meal here on our short trip to SD. - Snap pea salad: This was recommended by our server because we were on the fence between this and the asparagus salad. It definitely felt like a Spring dish. - Lamb loin: I'm usually not a fan of lamb because it tastes too earthy to me. However, my husband convinced me to get it to share, and I'm somewhat glad he did. On one hand, it was very delicious and made me rethink how I feel about lamb. On the other, how can I ever eat it anywhere else when Nine-Ten made it so perfectly delicious? The restaurant can get quite loud, but we didn't mind it too much. We enjoyed the ambiance and felt our server was friendly and attentive. Can't wait to visit again!

We usually enjoy the weekend brunch at nine-ten, so we invited out-of-town guests to join us. It was not a good experience. The service was bad to non-existent; we had to practically trip a server for a coffee refill. One of the egg dishes arrived cold. The lattes arrived lukewarm. We ordered a second round of cappuccinos and were told they were on the way; after 15 minutes we asked again and were told the ticket had been lost. We finally got them 10 minutes later. Not sure what the problem was, but I think we will take our guests elsewhere next time.

Funny to read these super long and detailed reviews. Anyone giving less than 5 stars are wannabe food critics who never worked in a kitchen. This place is good. It's expensive but worth it. Did the chef tasting menu with the wine pairing and it's exactly what to expect from a Michelin recommended restaurant. Food is great. Wine was great. Wait staff was great.

This place is truly an icon. We've experience Chef Knibbs talent creating new American cuisine with an elegant twist. Service is excellent thanks to our server Chris . Highly recommend this restaurant .

There's a huge difference between expensive meals and expensive meals that are memorable in a great way. Our dinner for two- one drink each and sharing desert-with tip was $250. Yet it's all good because every part of the meal was excellent and or perfect. I will continue to dine here when want or need a great meal with perfect service

Dinner was amazing. Staff were so friendly and attentive. We started with the Cacio e Pepe and the Jerk Pork Belly. Both were delicious. The pork belly was so good and a must order. For dinner we had the ribeye and halibut, which was the night's special. Both were fantastic and well balanced. Such a nice meal!

There's not much to say about Nine-Ten other than it's outstanding. Every visit has been top-notch. The food is so good. I'd recommend the hamachi sashimi, ahi crudo, Jamaican jerk pork belly, Parker rolls, black cod, lamb, and ribeye... you can't go wrong with anything here. The service and staff are wonderful. Nice cocktails. Valet or street parking.

My dining experience at this establishment was a mix of highs and lows. The Little Gem salad showcased a harmonious blend of flavors, while the Grilled Prime Ribeye stood out for its excellent preparation and balanced fat content. The Duck dish was equally impressive in its execution. However, the Pan-Roasted Black Cod fell short, as it was overcooked and lacked the desired flakiness. Moving to desserts, the S'mores failed to meet expectations with its light cream and subtle chocolate, though the Pineapple Sorbet provided a refreshing conclusion. Overall, while the restaurant delivered on some fronts, inconsistencies in execution detracted from an otherwise enjoyable meal. It served as a memorable outing for our Canadian guests experiencing American cuisine for the first time.
