The food was amazing! We split everything - White Truffle Garlic Bread (best restaurant garlic bread ever!), Caesar Salad with Salmon (they split it in the kitchen so it would be easier to share) and the Spicy Vodka Pasta with Italian Sausage. Such a great meal. But the service was even better. Our server, Ann Marie, was so attentive and sweet. We hugged her when we left and would definitely request her section in the future.

Food is just average for the price. It is quite loud. Service was very good. No lasagna, Hubby was craving so he ordered the bolognese instead. Was disappointed. And for an upscale Italian restaurant we were all so very surprised and disappointed that they don't offer fresh grated parm or ground pepper. :(

Our server named Moises was fantastic. So attentive and he made great recommendations. The garlic truffle bread is AMAZING! It's some of the best restaurant bread I've ever eaten. Also the creamy vodka pasta was delicious and the portion was very generous.

I have been to this specific location about 50 times in the past 3 years. Ive brought several of my AT&T clients here and they've referred your restaurant to others, too. I'd hope to keep this alignment in place. I have always had a great experience and held it our establishment in high regards, until last night. This location is right next-door to my house. I have referred lots of friends and family to go here. Last night, was one of the worst experience of my life at this restaurant. I was so disappointed and ashamed to bring my Dad, visiting from Gaeta, Italy. Most of the food belonged to other people. The waitress, hostess, and most of the staff were helpful and kind. The manager was attentive for a minute, but didn't keep to his word. I don't even know where to start. He told me I'd get the meal I asked for and it would be on the house. I don't care if it's on the house, I just wanted what I ordered! Like I said, the wrong meals were served. I saw my meal being served to others. The manager kept saying that he'd give me my ordered meal, complimentary. We were told that my food was no more left of my asked dinner. However, I saw other people getting the same food delivered after I had ordered mine. I hope that this restaurant can make it right.

We dine at North Italia in Phoenix and Scottsdale very often since we live in Arizona. On a recent trip to San Diego we tried North in FV. Sadly not the same. It was just average. They do it right in AZ!

Friday evening and the restaurant and bar were full. UConn and Iowa on televisions over the bar. Grilled bread with good olive oil, bolognese, braised short rib lumanche, flat bread all very good with the pasta al dente. Waitress was very pleasant and professional, an ideal combination. North Italia never disappoints.

The staff was amazing. The host were very accomodating and we got lucky with our server Logan. He was very pleasant and took care even though the restaurant was very busy for Thursday afternoon and they appeared to be shorthanded.
Ordered a pizza that was not cut. Only two pieces were cut and had to cut the rest of it ourselves. Found that pretty lazy on the kitchen's part. The rest of the food was deliciously made, even if it took some time to get to our table. I suggest getting an appetizer to keep you occupied while you wait for your main meal.

I have eaten at hundreds of restaurants in San Diego and not even once have I met someone as professional as Drew.He was attentive and took his time with our party. More than that, he was absolutely hilarious yet in the most professional way. I am really so impressed with the restaurant that they are able to find this type of talent.Drew is an amazing guy and we will definitely be visiting again when he is working there. We had the most amazing Easter lunch at North Italia!! We were able to make a last minute reservation and had the best service and food, everything was outstanding. From the truffle garlic bread, cacio e pepe arancini, Caesar salad, spicy rigatoni and pizza, to the espresso martini and red velvet with raspberry butter cake, wowzers.... Can't wait to go back!!
We showed up half an hour earlier than our reservation, however they let us in smoothly. The service was prompt. We ordered drinks, calamari for appetizer to share, pig pizza and squid ink pasta. There were 2 kinds of sauce with calamari. Both tasted very good. We enjoyed the pizza and pasta with full of delicious sauce and ingredients. Will definitely come back.
