One of those "don't judge a book by its cover" places. The ahi salad was extremely good as was the drink list. Will be back!

Despite being surrounded by some of the best eateries in San Diego, O'Brien's is always worth a visit as it perfectly satisfies the desire for a simple irish pub experience. Food drink games and a friendly atmosphere. Also dog friendly.

Locals spot with quite a good beer selection and usual bar faire foods, tots, sandwiches, nachos. The food was good though. And service was friendly and inviting. The parking situation is horrific though. I suppose it's easiest now to pay but what a pain that is. At least before you could sell your soul for a spot now you pay the dumb company and still there aren't enough spots. Still worth going though.

The burger I got was THE best burger I’ve ever had. It was the western burger. The tater tots were good, they just seemed so boring compared to having the best burger I’ve ever had right before the fries

Came to grab a beer.

Told the lady with glasses at the bar it seemed flat and she asked me if I cared and I could talk to the owner if I wanted.

Couldn't drink my beer so I took it back and another lady with tatoos stayed she checked the tanks and that's how it's supposed to be. So, handed my beer back and said i could drink it as it was completely flat. She took my beer and said okay - and nothing more.

I paid already so out my $ and gained a bad experience at a place i used to frequent - shame this is how you all turned out.

N.B., you might be able to fool non-bar people but Ive worked in restaurants/bars for 10+ years and you need to fix your CO2.

We have been going here for years. Always local on tap, great wing Wednesday, and great atmosphere to hand and chill.
Cons: parking. There is street parking and now the lot is pay parking. It can get pro creamed so plan ahead.

It is the best pub in the region, a tremendous variety of high-quality draft beers, including the famous Pliny the Elder, which is not available everywhere. The food is excellent, there is a varied menu, order the steak dish that is not on the menu.

Finally, seek the attention of Antonia (Toni), a waitress with great attitude and kindness. Highly recommended place.

#1 beer bar! If you’re not hoppy here, it’s you, not them.

Food and service was great but there were people smoking although the tables had no smoking sign and that was really bothering our group

Wing night, 6 wings for $4.50. Pretty solid. Not gourmet wings but bang for your buck. Nice vibes outside too.
