I would like to give Olala Crepes Five Stars for a variety of reasons. The cleanliness, the warmth, the bright lights and the calmness of Emily whom was operating business.
I ordered Je Suis Curieux and it was perfection of a meal all in one crepe. Very warm, savory and well made by Emily.
She was very pleasant but very focused independently preparing the food, cleaning and focused.
I am from much further away and this experience was very enjoyable.
I encourage locals and out of towners alike to come by this location on 5th Avenue in the Gaslamp Quarter to enjoy and support this business and special highlight to Emily for her professional demeanor and preparing such a savory crepe!

I’ll start off by saying the cashier was very sweet. The other lady (pregnant) needs to really work on her customer service skills. I asked if she could make the matcha less sweet and she said no. She was making orders like she doesn’t want to be there. If places are going to ask for tips for their employees, they really must do better.

Nice place for breakfast and dessert. The crepes are some of the best I’ve had. Made to order as you watch. They have both sweet and savory options and if you order for dine in they come on a wooden board. The coffee is good, just a little too hot for me. The matcha was pretty good too.

Excellent variety of crepes, both savory and sweet, as well as a good selection of gelato. All of our dishes were made right then and there, so expect to wait a bit to get your food.

It’s a cute quaint place, and the menu seems like it has some good options, however the food was not good at all. We had a few crepes and there wasn’t any flavor. Also very overpriced. And no bathroom. The workers also seem like they would rather be anywhere else…very unwelcoming. Unfortunately, do not recommend.
