This little place is way beyond any description or expectation. I am not vegan and this is by far the best food I’ve ever had at any Vietnamese restaurant. They make you feel as though your long lost family was making a welcome home meal just for you. Everything about it is remarkable.. so here I am doing my best to remark on it. An absolute gem! Thanh Tinh Chay sets the bar incredibly high for vegan dining. Every dish is prepared with such care and quality that you can taste the freshness and love in each bite. It’s not just a restaurant, it’s an experience that leaves you feeling nourished, satisfied, and eager to come back.

What really makes this place shine, though, is the people. Helen, the owner, and Trang, the manager, are absolute masters of customer service. They have an incredible gift for making you feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. They know exactly how to keep you full, happy, and coming back for more. Dining here feels like being a valued guest in their home rather than just another customer.

And I can’t leave without raving about the water, yes, the water! Infused with lemon, mint, and apple, it’s so refreshing and delightful that it feels like the perfect complement to the meal. Just another detail that shows how much thought and heart they put into everything they do.

If you’re looking for high-quality vegan food, genuine hospitality, and an atmosphere that leaves you smiling, Thanh Tinh Chay is the place. Truly one of the best dining experiences you’ll ever have!

Came to this restaurant for the first time in 2021. 4 years later, the food quality and customer service are unchanged. Everything tastes so good. Yes the food is pricey but this quality and tastiness are unmatched. Literally the best!

The food and service at Thanh Tinh Chay is phenomenal; highly recommend! If you haven’t tried this little gem in City Heights, it’s definitely worth a trip to experience their amazing vegan Vietnamese food and stellar service. The food is all homemade with fresh, organic ingredients and is also gluten-free. Even my family and neighbor (who aren’t vegan) loved everything they ate. The owner, manager, and staff are so passionate about their food and it shows. They also are very accommodating with modifying any dishes. Not only will you be met with super friendly service, but they give their patrons the most delicious fruit-infused water that I could drink all-day, every day and you’ll end your meal with a complimentary dessert!

Very unassuming atmosphere serves amazing food. The flavors were scrumptious. Even the water that is flowing freely is great as flavored with apples and lemon. Pickled salad, kimchi noodles and pho were favorites. The crème brûlée was so creamy and delicious. I don’t usually like proteins like chicken, beef etc made from plant based food but these were really tasty.

The food was delicious- I won’t ever stop thinking about that coconut flan. The staff was incredibly kind and passionate about the food, and my sandwich was delicious. A little on the pricier side for what it is, but considering the work that goes into each dish it is understandable.

I’m not even vegan, but this place blew me away. The food is flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with a lot of care. You can tell the team here is incredibly proud of what they serve. Every dish feels intentional and deeply satisfying.

What really stood out was the service. They go above and beyond. You feel welcomed, appreciated, and honestly pampered. They know everything about the food and take time to explain it with genuine passion.

This isn’t just a great vegan restaurant. It’s a great restaurant, period. I’ll definitely be back.

I don’t usually write reviews but this place was so good that I had to. We had the dan dan noodles with beef and the banh mi with pork belly and crispy pork. These were some of the best dan dan noodles I have ever had in my life. The texture and the flavor of the proteins were very on point. You could not tell anything was vegan and they make absolutely everything in house, even the bread. We also had the creme brûlée, which I would recommend to anyone who comes to eat here. I am recommending this place to everyone I know lol

Such a great dining experience. The food was delicious. We got the Pad Thai burrito, eggplant, and crispy mushrooms - all were hits. Love that the menu has something for everyone. And the dessert - the flan and the tapioca pudding was so good.

Organic Vegan Vietnamese food that is comparable to any Vietnamese restaurant and is amazing! Trang our waitress is the sweetest person that knows the menu inside out. She was really helpful when choosing something off the menu when there are 2000 items to choose from! The chicken ro ti was delicious. I can’t ask for a better experience and can’t wait to come back again.
