My family went to outback in Laughlin, Nevada at Aquarius. Out of five of us three of us got sick did not have a good ride home the next day we were all very ill.

One of the best take out meals we’ve ever enjoyed. All of our special instructions were executed perfectly. Each meal was labeled accurately and we all enjoyed the food. The takeout server was great and was working on 3-4 additional orders yet still had time to be attentive and hospitable. We will be back soon. And the remodel is spectacular inside and out. Heading to their patio this weekend.

I had the pleasure of coming in for lunch today.
My server Nancy was lovely!
Unfortunately there was a slight hiccup with the temperature of my steak… but then the star of the show arrived!
Ms. Leiah… the manager arrived at our table!
The most lovely, most hospitable lady I’ve ever come across.
She was so incredibly genuine with her desire for us to have a great experience!
We are all human, accidents happen… I choose not to pass judgement on the accident.. but the way an establishment responds to it… Ms. Leiah hit it out of the park!!!
Can’t wait to return and enjoy another great meal with great folks that made me feel like family!

Not bad but not good enough for outback restaurants

My wife and I came in for a date night and both ordered the Aussie 3-Course Meal. And we had our one year old daughter. Our server was Hailey. The soup, chili, and burgers were actually great hot, flavorful, and served in a reasonable time. That part of the experience was promising.

Unfortunately, the service fell off completely after that. We waited over 20 minutes for our desserts, but they never arrived. Our server never came back to check on us, and we never received refills on our drinks. We also never received the military discount, which we normally receive without issue, so we paid on the tablet and left.

We left disappointed, especially since we paid for the full 3-course meal and didn’t receive everything we were promised. The food was good, but the lack of follow-through and basic customer service made the experience feel unfinished and frustrating.

After drinks served, we had to ask another server for some bread and it’s been 15 minutes since our server came around. When our food was finally served two out of five meals was cold. Our server never came back to check on us and we to ask another server for refills. Bad experience and we came here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary dinner. Family was disappointed. And it was very cold inside, bring a jacket if you want to go.

We had lunch at the Outback Steakhouse in Clairemont this Fourth of July and had such a great experience, all thanks to our server Olivia.

From the moment we were seated, Olivia went above and beyond. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly efficient without ever making us feel rushed. She knew the menu inside and out, offered great recommendations, and checked in at just the right times. It’s clear she genuinely cares about guests having a good experience.

The restaurant was busy for the holiday, but Olivia never missed a beat. Our drinks stayed full, the food came out hot and accurate, and she even brought us to go boxes for our order without skipping a beat. Honestly, it felt more like service you'd get at a high-end steakhouse than a casual chain.

If you're looking for great service at a steakhouse in San Diego, ask for Olivia at the Clairemont Outback. Management, if you're reading this, promote this woman. She's a standout and a major reason we’ll be returning.

Highly recommend this location — great food, clean dining area, and a team that truly works hard.

We went to the location in Clairemont. We were seated promptly. Drink order taken and received. The server never came back to take our order as she was too busy chatting with other regular customers and more worried about serving alcohol, so we left. Definitely do not recommend this location.
