Arely’s French Bakery Cafe is a hidden gem with consistently great service and deliciously prepared food. The staff are wonderful, friendly, warm, efficient, and helpful. The food is five star, with never a bad meal. The pastry cannot be beat, and the bakery is awesome. Specific meals mentioned include the 2 egg special, with bacon that can be made crispy upon request, and really good scrambled eggs. Desserts like Lemon Mouse Cake and Peanut Butter Cookie are yummy delicious. The coffee and espresso are excellent, and one expert does artwork on cappuccinos. The brand of tea is excellent, and mimosas are also available. The food comes out promptly, and the waitresses are very attentive. A poster of Paris on the wall adds to the ambiance. Overall, there are no better places for breakfast or lunch in Clairemont or Kearny Mesa, and the high standard has been maintained for years.
