Wasn't that impressed with the food and we both found it lacking in flavor. Service was good.
Basically service find but an adjacent table had children that were distracting. Food excellent
Food was tasty if a bit overwhelmingly spicey. Biggest distraction was a few loud drunks at the bar made ambience uncomfortable and distracting.
Our family Loved as always but Marissa, our server, was shamazing!

Just kinda gross. Ordered the Korean fried chicken on the bone with dipping sauce. It came with unlabeled squeeze bottles of what tasted like sauces they just put on other things, none tasted good for chicken. Biting into the chicken itself was a nightmare. None of the three large pieces were identifiable parts of a chicken like you would get in a KFC bucket. It looked like someone took a cleaver to a chicken blindfolded. Over half of it was completely inedible fried gristle (the picture is what was LEFT. If I wasn’t at a big family dinner I would have refused to pay for it. The other food at the table was pretty mediocre.
The carelessness of the pan-Asian decorations is laughable. In one picture I managed to capture a crappy, fake bonsai tree, a Thai Buddha head, a Chinese Taoist gong and two paintings designed by someone with no knowledge of the Japanese language using a translator app lazily (the “way of the Samurai isn’t 侍の道 it’s 武士道).
Service was fine.
The very existence of this restaurant is an affront to good taste, in both senses. I could only imagine going there if you were staying at the hotel next door. But even if you are, go somewhere else. If you want crappy Chinese food, save some money and door dash Panda Express.
Kid-friendliness: They do have kids menus and crayons

P.F. Chang’s, La Jolla, is our favorite restaurant for an early dinner after a matinee at the La Jolla Playhouse. We enjoy the food and the selection of drinks. On March 16, we had incredibly good service from Dani. Thank you Dani, you treated our table of four like royalty.

Remy's customer service was outstanding. She's very attentive and made sure we had what we wanted and if we did not, she made sure we did eventually. Thank you so much Remy. Also, want to give a shout out to Anna at the bar during happy hour, she's great!

It's just not how I remember it.
We came here an hour before closing and the food was okay. The soup was not hot and the famous lettuce wrap was just not as good as I remembered. The lettuce was fresh and crisp but the meat was just boring. I liked the sides the best; rice was super nice (thank GOD), lettuce, crispy white stringy thingies, and the sauce plate with the most flavorful thing on the table: the yellow horseradish sauce. We also ordered the coconut shrimp stir fry plate and it was like something from a frozen bag but guess what? I ate it and I liked it.
The server was also super kind and hospitable, which is a requirement when serving this caliber of food. It's kinda depressing here. If you were looking to go to a place where nobody would recognize you or have a seedy meeting or take your mistress to ... This is the place.
Parking: You can park for free across the street at the mall and you have two hours of free parking. Walk across the street.
