Our server was very good & attentive! The food quality, ambiance & "experience" however were a far contrast to what P.F. Chang's used to be! Had not been here in years, but always preferred this location over other PFC's due to the upscale ambiance anchored by the central bar, with the walls of glass overlooking UTC. It was a restaurant to make an entrance, enjoy fresh, quality food & enjoy a true dining "experience". Today's scene is the exact opposite...patrons are navigating the ruins of what was once a premier dining destination. It feels like somebody needs to put this place out of its misery! The menu is extremely limited now & they don't have a "secret" menu of past favorites, as other locations sometimes accommodate. From what's left to choose, any resemblance of flavor, freshness or presentation is gone & unpalatable. Panda Express would have been a more enjoyable choice. Time to close the doors, sadly.

I want to like this place so much. I keep coming back and then reminding myself never to come again. The servers are wonderful. The problem is the food. They can't even do noodles. All of China can do noodles. Why is it that one of the few Chinese restaurants in San Diego cannot even cook decent noodles? Hire a Chinese chef. I will have to wait another year before I can come back.

Despite the venue not being that busy, it took us forever to get our food. At least 30 min. Our waiter was not awesome. Slow, forgetful, socially awkward. Again, not awesome. He lost a credit card, double charged, forgot part of the order and was just ineffective. Of course, he could have been having a rough day, but it was akin to hitting each stoplight while driving down a straight road.

My parents and I were so excited to come here because we love PF Changs and they happened to be in town visiting. When we walked in we were immediately impressed with the location and the lovely outside views and bright windows. When we placed our order with our server who was incredible and so hospitable, we were so sad to learn they were out of green beans. My Dad & I are vegetarians so we always look forward to the crispy green beans or chili garlic green beans whenever we come. We ordered the mapo tofu, the vegetarian spring rolls, and the pan fried noodles with vegetables. The noodles and the spring rolls were super tasty.Vegetarian options: Lots of options, crispy green beans, mapo tofu, wraps, etc.

I haven't been here for a while and had read a few less than stellar posts. But I was so pleasantly surprised how awesome dinner was. The portions were Big and the food was delicious! Also, the server (Bree) was awesome. Attentive and friendly!It was unfortunate to see that the bar was not packed during happy hour. Maybe they can make the happy hour more appealing to get more people in there.Regardless, I know I'm coming back again!
