Wine was not the best, but the outdoor atmosphere with live music was great!

Great event at Pali. They take care of their members with the wine pick up and occasional back patio events with great food in a fun urban setting.

We usually enjoy Pali on a regular night, but this was the Backyard Patio party. From the original invitation, we were under the impression there would be more seafood vendors. Meat/chicken/BBQ is not part of our diet so we were limited with the options. We would have liked at least one vendor (aside from the incredible dessert pastry chef) to have a vegetarian option, as well. Staff were friendly and towards the end, gave us second helpings of the dessert and tuna poke. It was a hot day under the black canopy but we enjoyed the atmosphere and spirit of the event. I would consider going again next year, but would like sommelier-style education at each station, explaining the wine and why it was paired with that particular food dish, or perhaps a host giving a short introduction as we arrived.

My business partner and I were looking for an intimate spot to host our first mastermind—and this was literally the perfect place. The “neighborhood wine bar” vibe made it feel so cozy and welcoming, and it was incredibly easy to connect with our group in that setting.

They gave us a private room with a family-style table that honestly felt like we were dining in someone’s stylish loft—it was exactly the vibe we wanted.

The food was delicious and just right for the occasion: elevated finger foods and small bites that paired perfectly with their sangria and were easy to share, which kept the conversation flowing all night.

Whether you’re kicking off a night in Little Italy or meeting up for a post-work wind-down, this really is the neighborhood spot.

Pali Wine Co on India Street should be an easy win—it’s got the charm, a cute setup, and a solid lineup of wines (some bottles are genuinely worth writing home about). The food? Surprisingly above average for a wine bar, which only makes the experience more frustrating when the service fumbles so consistently.

Service here is hit or miss, but let’s not sugarcoat it—mostly misses. Long waits, and a general vibe of “figure it out yourself” dampen what could otherwise be a 4- or even 5-star experience.

Their wine subscription is a bright spot and absolutely worth exploring if you live in the area. Until they get the front-of-house dialed in, this remains a spot with great potential that’s just not quite living up to it yet.

We went to the pick up party. It was really fun. Meeting new people and tasting new wines was excellent. They served 6 tastings and it was very nice. There was a charcuterie board and passed appetizers. The outdoor setting is pleasant. I would recommend checking out Pali wines.

Really love this place. Have always had excellent service and found Connor to be exceptionally knowledgeable about their wines and wine club. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about this spot. I joined their wine club, and it’s been such a treat! The wine is always on point, and happy hour is one of my weekly highlights. The live music really adds to the chill vibe, and it’s the perfect way to wind down. But honestly, the best part is the people. Everyone’s so friendly. I always feel so welcomed when I walk in. I’m here weekly without fail, and I always look forward to it.

Came here for Thursday night Trivia with a big group and it was a great time. Their food menu is pretty limited and they were out of N/A bevs besides sodas and water. They didn't come by our table to let us know there was a last call for food which was a bit disappointing but not a problem. Our group had a great time at trivia and the host was super fun. I would go back but probably eat something beforehand

Amazing food and great wine! We came here for the first time just to get a glass of wine while we were waiting for a dinner reservation elsewhere and then we tasted one of their appetizers, scallops with oyster mushrooms. The food was delicious and so was the wine! The food we tasted here was so much better than at the fancy restaurant we were going afterwards. We ended up signing up for Pali wine club and now are attending the events they host for wine pick up. It is our favorite place to go out!

We visited this place based on a recommendation while in SD, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to expectations. Arriving 50 minutes before closing, we felt rushed, and our server seemed uninterested in assisting us. We had hoped for a more welcoming atmosphere and a better overall experience.

Low key spot in Little Italy. Great wine obviously but cool staff, chill upstairs, and great back patio. Hard to beat on a sunny afternoon.

Visited again late February 2025 and it’s still great! Small plates menu is seriously good, we enjoyed everything we ordered. The Gamay was a delicious wine, as well.
