Matchatella gelato (dairy free!) + cranberry orange sorbet Got it in a cone cause they have the best ice cream cones in the city and I don't mind looking like a kid for the 2 minutes that it takes for me to devour these two scoops. My favorite gelato / ice cream / post meal dessert in all of downtown SD for 2 years running now!

Not the biggest fan of Gelato in general, but by some luck we found parking right outside for our dinner location just down the street. On the way back, we were offered a sample and the super helpful staff helped explain all the flavors and options. It was so tasty that I am a fan of Gelato.I can't spell but the general vanilla with chocolate flakes was amazing. At the time they had a special olive oil flavor on too and though it sounded odd, it tasted really good. Highly recommend.
