I haven't been at Palominos in a long time, the place was clean and everything organized food and salsas before. Today I went to get something to eat and the floor wasn't very clean, ceiling fan was dirty, cobwebs on walls, fridge at the entrance was all dusty and the glass wasn't very clean. Service was good and the cashier was polite. I thought maybe is under new owner but they are not taking care of the place.
In a world of strip malls full of Asian food options, Palaminos might be your only Mexican food option for at least a block in any direction. I had the Del Mar burrito. Good size with fried fish, shrimp, and rice all making a delicious bite. My wife got a fish taco. The portion of the fried fish was good. Not overly crispy which is good. Topped with lettuce and tarter sauce and not cabbage and white sauce. Maybe that is the Cali way and not the AZ way. The side of rice was good...
Me and my mom went here and the Lady working that day was so nice and helpful it was quiet inside and there was hardly any customers inside at the time it was nice. The food was good too. We both had rolled tacos ???????? and a drink. ?
