Soto's Mexican Food #2

In the neighborhood and craving a burrito, I decided to check out Soto’s #2. Upon arrival, I was hit with some post-apocalyptic vibes - an empty, dimly lit, room. A menu display lacking at prices for their listed items. I made. Luckily, the service was friendly and quick and I made sure to make my order to-go.

I got their veggie burrito (which doesn’t come with cheese, by the way) and a fountain drink where half of their soda options were “out of order”. Food was forgettable but I do always appreciate a self-serve salsa bar with options.

Been going here for years. Love the food. Some of the best and he has great catering for your party. I have used him many times for our office events and believe me, they love the Ceviche. Goes very fast.

Quick, excellent and quality. They seem to care more about the quality of their food than many of the other Mexican food stores.

This my go to Mexican food place for work. I work odd hours and they are open wider Randle of hours than some of the other business around. Service is quick and they have free chips & salsa. I normally get food to go but the inside is always clean and seems a pretty laid back. Would recommend

Delicious! $19 for 3 beef tacos is a bit expensive but they were good.

Worst Mexican food in San Diego. Definitely not associated with Soto's in Miramar. I got chicken tacos and it was literally day old rotisserie chicken that was grey in color. No seasoning or salt, just clearly them trying to use up old product. Don't waste your money here.

Oh...Soto, Mr. Soto! Thank you for your restaurant. Thanks to you, I met with nice burrito. The staff recommended me some burrito and all of those are looks delicious. I tried the Chorizo Burrito. It's good. Egg, cheese, meat, and other ingredients make harmony.

First time coming to this location and I loved it. The Carne asada was so good, the rice and beans too which are always hit or miss when I try a new spot. They have alot of salsa selections which I appreciate. Will definitely be back

The place a nice and cozy as soon as we walked in. The woman at the counter was polite and helpful as we figured out our order. The food came in a reasonable amount of time and the portionsc were generous.

California burritos and fish tacos here are pretty good. Really really good fish tacos. There are like 6 options at the salsa bar. Nice place inside.

This place is connected to a fruteria but you have to order on the Mexican food side. Took over 20 minutes to receive my juice, strawberries and cream and Chamango. Originally came for a beet juice but he didn't understand what I wanted and I got the first juice he mentioned. Meanwhile others came in for a burrito and got it within 5 minutes. Not sure if their food is any good but service for their fruteria seems lacking. Came for a quick desert but ended up waiting too long for something that should've been 10 minutes tops. Chamango tasted pretty gross, kinda like celery, and was an off putting color. The strawberries were pretty good, tastes like yogurt with strawberries but the granola they use was like 90% raisins :/ juice tasted like a regular average home made juice, just blended fruit with water not really juice. overall not a great experience, spent $30 for below average things. They Should just focus on 1 thing and rent that other side out. If you're visiting the food place they don't have any prices on their menu just a heads up.

Not bad. The del mar burrito had fried fish and shrimp which was nice. Huge burrito. I like the thick spicy red salsa.

Good foods, good price, good portion.
