Panini Kabob Grill - Del Mar

Very chintzy, puny protein servings here. I ordered salmon on my salad and it was about 3 ounces of meat. A serving size should be more like 6 ounces. It was still nearly $30. Go elsewhere for a good meal.

I have to write most of Panini grills in San Diego, but this location definitely has the best fruit I would say food is always consistent at Panini‘s but for some reason, they cook their koobideh better than other places as in some places they overcook the koobideh but not here

I order the beef kabob that comes with pilaf and the avocado salad. The avocado was brown in color, I told them to change it which they did. The server did a great job. And the environment was clean.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I ended up with intense food poisoning. I ordered the chicken kabob meal with the avocado salad and the avocado looked 10 days old and off color. I threw that out and still got sick from the rest of the food. Staff lacks knowledge of menu and is inattentive as well. I have been to many panini kabob grill locations and it was always a great experience until now. Avoid this location at all costs.

First time here was looking for something different to eat so I decided to give this place a chance. ordered the ground beef kebab with Caesar salad, and it was OK. Nothing stood out and probably wouldn’t go back, but I’ll gave it a chance. Service was OK. The guy took my order and only came back once to check on me so it is what it is.

I had the most wonderful greek salad here, it was exactly what I was seeking for a while and I appreciated the timely service despite the fact that there was a huge order before me. If you can look past the Hobby lobby inspired decor, the food here is solid and I will be coming back :)

Unfortunately, part of my food was burnt. The service was poor because they pay no attention to children

my friends and i always go this Panini Kabob Grill in del mar but yesterday the service that night was bad. our waiter and the night shift manager were not attentive\friendly to our group table.
but the food was delicious as always😋

Frustrating and slow service — not worth the wait.

I visited Panini Kabob Grill - Del Mar on June 8, 2025, and placed a simple dine-in order for a Salmon Kabob with Mediterranean Salad (Check #5654, Table 134, Guest 1). My order was taken at 2:27 PM, and despite the restaurant not being busy, it took 30 minutes to bring out the wrong dish. After I flagged the mistake, it took nearly 50 minutes total to finally get the correct meal — something that should take no more than 5 minutes to prepare.

To top it off, they forgot the tzatziki sauce that comes with the dish. I had to ask for it again, and it was brought as an afterthought.

The food itself was okay, but the overall experience was frustrating and not worth the $26 I paid (receipt time-stamped 3:06 PM). Extremely poor time management and lack of care for the customer. Won’t be coming back.
