For everyone saying that the place is sketchy or ghetto: Yall mfs really expect a papa johns in the middle of DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO right next to the most sketchy area to be all clean and nice? You guys are freaking delusional.Anyway aside from that this place is pretty neat. Beats 7 eleven pizza in terms of quality and price. By no means is it gourmet, but its nice to eat at when you need a lot of food for cheap.
It seems each night you get different service. Sometimes it's downright excellent, other times you can tell the crew just wants to go home. On one night, I noticed my pizza was on their back table, done and ready (for several minutes) as I watched other ppl who ordered online come and go. I really didn't know it was mine until one employee came from the back, happened to notice it, checked and brought it to me-Apologizing. I might not have been so annoyed if they only...
I’ve never had much of a problem in general, but the staff looks very unhappy. I totally get it with that location. It is weird to ring the buzzer to get let in for our food. I also was annoyed at waiting and just watching my food sit on the hand-off plane.
