You know a restaurant is great when you crave it at least once a week. That’s how I feel about this well Run very clean attractive, small Mexican restaurant in a town of hundreds of Mexican restaurants. Yes it’s in my neighborhood but Having eaten all over the city for the past 47 years I know Mexican restaurants. And we have some of the best. But this one stands apart and above. The lady that owns it and runs it is a human dynamo and she is a perfectionist. And it shows...
I was taking a walk near the Balboa Park area and stumbled across this cute little Mexican restaurant. I tried the Carne Asada Burrito, Carne Asada Nachos, and the Carne Asada Quesadilla — and everything was absolutely delicious.
Simple and underwhelming Mexican food; Ive had better and worse. Service was a little gruff but restaurant was clean and bright.
I’ll probably go somewhere else next time but in a pinch not bad.
