For breakfast, we ordered the eggs with salmon and the avocado toast. The avocado toast was good, but nothing special, pretty standard. The cured salmon, though, was really tasty.
I got my eggs poached, but they were overcooked, the yolk was hard, and I was hoping for them to be a bit runny. That was a bit disappointing. Overall, a decent breakfast, just not amazing.

Our go to breakfast spot whenever we are in San Diego. Loved the blue corn waffle and the beet smoked salmon!

Cute cafe in little Italy, with a trendy vibe and slightly pricey but very tasty breakfast and brunch options. Smoothies are very tasty and bowls are healthy and filling. Expect to pay upwards of $20 for a bowl and smoothie. If you have a dog, there is a space outside to eat and staff don't mind ordering with your dog inside.

Their gluten-free, dairy-free charcoal waffle is out of this world! Such a great place with plenty of choices for anyone visiting San Diego with dietary restrictions!

Parakeet Café is a really cute spot with great decor, it has a cozy vibe and seems like a great place to bring your laptop and get some work done.
I ordered the matcha, and while it wasn’t the worst I’ve had, it was a bit bland for my taste. That said, the cup it came in was super cute, which added a nice touch to the experience.
I definitely want to go back to try their pastries, they had a wide variety, including gluten-free and vegan options, which looked really tempting!

Cool little cafe right next to the Little Italy Market.
It is within walking distance from Downtown SD, the Midway Museum, and the Coastline. Parking is as you can expect, a bit difficult, but nothing too bad.
The place is very nice, well kept, and organized. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We definitely felt welcomed here.
The food was delicious, downtown prices hahaha, but it was really good. Wife had the chilaquiles verdes and I had a burrito. They were tasty and excellent salsa!
They do have only 1 bathroom, for male and females. Very clean and well maintained.
Good experience overall!

It was the first time I tried Parakeet in Little Italy, same great vibes as Delmar. Food was solid, service on point. Guess Parakeet's consistency is the real MVP!

I’ve been going to this Parakeet Café location for several years. They are consistently outstanding. Sometimes the line is long, but it’s always worth it. You also have the option to place an order online so you don’t have to wait. The manager, Christina goes above and beyond! Highly recommend them.

They need 2 cashiers. Indecisive people be having menu in their hands while in line and still spend 10 minutes at the cashier to order smh
Ordered an iced mint matcha oatmilk latte and it was so bad, I don’t know if they were rushing through it but it had no taste of mint, couldnt even taste the matcha, and I don’t even know if there was oatmilk in it- just tasted like cold water. You would think for the price you pay at cafes the drinks would be decent, but no. Service was also very poor the lady was rude the whole transaction.
