Sorrento Ristorante Reviews
Food and service was amazing
Atmosphere is lively , in the heart of little Italy area. Food experience was mixed.
The primitivo wine was very good as was the tiramisu.
Appetizer was also tasty.
Main dish: eggplant parmigiana was a disappointment as was the bread in the beginning.

Sorrento was great!!!! The staff was very friendly and always making sure we had everything we needed. Our waiter was happy and attentive. The food itself was very authentic, and my mom who has been to italy several times was very impressed!!! Dessert was great as well. The setting itself is adorable - we loved it. Bright and authentic Italian vibes!

Sorrento Ristorante offers a pleasant dining experience with a great ambiance, especially on the patio. The service is attentive, and guests are welcomed with complimentary chilled water, bread, and spicy marinara sauce to start. The menu features a variety of options, including the popular octopus salad and the Cioppino, a fish soup filled with a delightful assortment of fresh seafood. The restaurant is known for its friendly staff who go above and beyond to make guests feel special, as seen when they surprised a table with a free bread pudding dessert. The outdoor seating is lovely, with enough space and shade to enjoy a relaxing meal. Recent reviews highlight the delicious food, such as pizza, lasagna, and the artichoke and olive salad, which many find very tasty and feel like home. The atmosphere is simple yet nice, with a lively environment in the heart of Little Italy, run by Sicilians. There are plenty of outdoor and indoor seats, including spots at the bar. The staff is polite and attentive, with service that many say is better than anywhere else, especially the waiter Mario, who takes pride and care in serving guests. The drinks, including crafted cocktails and Aperol Spritz, are highly recommended. Overall, Sorrento Ristorante remains a solid choice for those seeking good seafood, friendly service, and a cozy outdoor setting.
