We've eaten at Parc Bistro several times. This past Sunday, we enjoyed their Sunday Brunch. As always, the food was excellent. A great way to start the day before heading out to listen to the San Diego Symphony.
Parc Bistro is one of my favorite restaurants in town, with consistently good food and service. I go there frequently for dinner before heading to the theatre or the symphony, and rely on their timing to get me fed and on my way in a reasonable amount of time.
Wonderful early dinner. Fabulous baguette. Great Trout almandine. Perfect steak tartar. Noise level was quiet when we got there early on a Saturday afternoon. Could see where it gets a bit noisier as the evening goes along. The food is truly the highlight. Having lived in France for ten years, I really appreciated it.
My go-to place for lunch with friends. Good food, good service, and lovely outside seating.
Parking is absolutely horrible. Service was not good. Looks like many new servers. Ours (female) basically ignored us while fawning over a group of men in the table right next to us.
The Chilean Sea Bass was superb! Our server got us through in good time to get us to a theater performance.
The service here is excellent and the ambience is relaxed and charming. Unfortunately the food was underwhelming. The French onion soup was ordinary and the steak schnitzel sandwich was dry, tough and not very flavorful, even with the addition of a garlic aioli. Upon the waiter's recommendation I had the apple tart instead of the chocolate mousse for dessert. If only I could go back in time! For $70 for one person I expected to be wowed. I was not, except when I got the check.
Excellent experience. The staff was excellent and the food was delicious. I've been to the Bistro with groups in the past. My experience this time was more delightful.
This was our first visit and we will be back. Our server Courtney was incredible as was the food and cocktails. Looking forward to our next visit.

Had the mussels, trout almondine, beef burginoiu, and steak Diane. Everyone was super happy. Big portions, great service and nice walk to Old Globe for a show after.
An amazing find. Great food and awesome service. Very nice patio and great inside seating as well.
We vacation in San Diego every summer, and make it a point to dine at the Parc. Never had a less than wonderful meal there, and last night was no exception. My husband and I had the salmon, which was perfection . Our friends ordered the Beef Burgundy and the rack of lamb. Everyone was happy! Our server seemed a bit unfocused, but it was Labor Day Weekend and she was training new busboys, I believe. All in all, an excellent experience.
I spilled a glass of red wine on myself ruining my white pants and breaking their glass because there was a broken off edge to my table making it unstable. They comped myself and partner our drinks. Judge for yourself. Fabulous food and excellent gracious service
A local favorite of ours for a nightcap. The crab cakes are absolutely fantastic!
