I am so glad I was able to eat at perry's one last time before close.
I have traveled to San Diego many many times over the past 22 years, and have enjoyed many meals.

My wife and I ate here our first day in San Diego and we couldn’t have felt more welcomed. We left with our appetite filled by delicious breakfast, many recommendations for this beautiful city, and a wonderful memory. We will be back and highly recommend for friendly service and a good meal!
I was a lifelong customer where yes the food was great there and in the end I was a little disappointed but not enough to leave a bad review since the people are very nice and the food is still good but what upset me was my two favorite things on their menu was the buckwheat and whole wheat pancakes which were very good and healthier and now they discontinued both items where all they serve now are the white flower buttermilk pancakes which is sad that a lot of restaurants been...read full review
Perry's Cafe was a popular breakfast spot serving good all-American breakfast with generous portions. This San Diego dining icon offered a great breakfast experience with a nostalgic 1960s atmosphere. The family-friendly establishment had a wide menu, including Mexican and Italian options. Customers loved the way they could have rice and beans with their breakfast instead of potatoes and toast. No one would ever give you as much butter as Perry's. The employees were always happy and ready to help you with whatever you needed. The place was clean but nothing fancy, just a lot of good food. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was excellent.
