“On Sunday night, our team of 20 decided to celebrate some recent achievements by trying Persian cuisine. After some research, we found that Orchid Persian Cuisine is rated one of the best in San Diego—and it truly lived up to the praise.

Despite it being 7 PM on a Sunday, the staff at Orchid quickly arranged and combined tables to accommodate our large group comfortably. The food was outstanding, and Mr. Omid and his team were incredibly friendly, attentive, and compassionate. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and welcoming.

Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Persian food in a lovely setting.“

“Very delicious authentic Persian food. From there fesenjoon to the lamb soltani. Very delicious and tastes like homemade.
Mr Mansour the owner, is a great man, very welcoming, and comes and check on tables himself and great them.
The servers are very pleasant too.
On top of that they serve hookah too. Couldn’t get any better. It’s definitely my spot now.“

“Everything we had for dinner was delicious. The hummus was creamy. The baba ganush was out of this world. The combo grilled chicken, shrimp was enough for 2 people. The service was exceptional. I highly recommend Sadaf.“

“This is the kind of place you walk in, the owner takes your order, the owner makes your food (with love) and the owner brings your food. Doesn't get mote personal than that. The food itself, absolutely delicious. We tried the Barg and the Soltani and both were fantastic.“

The Darbaand special ( I think) -
It had beef kabob, ground sirloin kabob, chicken kabob, and came with rice and grilled veggies. The platter can be easily shared among 2/3 people.9/10
Hummus - 7/10, it comes with bread. They should give more bread.
Overall, the food was fresh, delicious, and flavorful. Do visit if you can.
The bathrooms were clean, but i wish they had kept a bidet as they are a halal restaurant.

Parking: There is a paid parking lot just 2 mins (walking) from where the restaurant is.“

Javid is one of the kindest, most welcoming, and extremely professsional owner I have ever got a pleasure to work with. Our sons event that took place in early November was a success. starting from the arragnements of the place, to delicious appetizers, leading to the main course, to all the way desserts and fruits. Javid and his team did an exceptionally well job in making our event a memorable one. Both servers that were assigned to us were the most amazing DUO you could have ever asked for. Knowing how much tea our people drink and how demanding our guests can be. EVERYTHING was taken care of very well without even asking all tasks were performed simultaneously. Javid thank you so much for all your hospitality and to SUFI's amazing team work. I am not doing any of our future events anywhere else but here at SUFI MEDITERRANEAN CUSINE. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME.“

“Great Persian cuisine at a gourmet level of quality. It is situated in an unconvincing strip mall but I was pleasantly surprised with the experience I received. We had the Soltani and Chicken kebabs and the flavor was phenomenal.

So do just give this place a try I was not expecting a place like this to be in Rancho Bernardo!“
