I would not recommend ordering 3rd party, and this is due to pesto not being timely with our order. My roommate order around d 640pm and finally got it at 8pm. I will rate on Uber eats as well. We did order just 2 sides and 2 entrees. Hopefully the food is worth the wait. Update: food was good increasing 1 star.

My first time here and definitely won't be the last! My beet goat cheese salad was the best! Our server Iggy was awesome. He was so friendly and even suggested coming to listen to their live music on Tuesday and Thursday! Thank you Iggy

Ordering to have food delivered to me is always an interesting experience from a restaurant that you have never been to before. Questions swirl in my head as to what size is the portion, will it be hot when it comes, what are the ideal sides, proteins, etc. I ordered a simple side Caesar salad which turned out to be a perfect size for 2 people to share. I ordered Eggplant Parmesan. You need to pick out a kind of pasta, a pasta sauce and then you can add to it. The dish was overwhelmed with pasta, in this case ziti with pesto sauce. There were 4 very small pieces of eggplant which were very dry. The pasta was good. I also ordered penne a La vodka with shrimp. The shrimp was great as they took the tails off. Again, the pasta was overwhelming. I learned a great deal from this experience. I was disappointed with the main part of the dish and delighted with the pasta. The food was warm, but not hot.

This place serves a quick meal that's not fast food! It's a casual setting and you place an order then choose your own seating in a pretty comfy setting. Staff are on it and helpful. Recommended if you're shopping in the mall or just want decent & inexpensive Italian!

@pestocraft is a great place to either grab something to go or enjoy their patio dining. They have a variety of things on their menu and different mocktails/cocktails to try. You can either build your own pastas or order signature dishes like I did. We started with a fruity mocktail and cocktail! I ordered the Gnocchi Verona which included Imported Italian Gnocchi (potato pasta), Pestofredo sauce, cherry tomato, bacon, mushrooms, parmesan cheese, and arugula. The Chicken Parm and Spaghetti Poloette Grande, which is spaghetti, house made giant meatball, house marinara. And yes it is a giant meatball. Let's not forget the Garlic Knots with house craft pesto.

Pesto has great pizza and awesome pasta. It's our go to spot for a quick takeout night!

Being that P.I.C.K its located in the mall, the place gets busy. Really good, Morden day classic Italian food. Inside has a cool vibe to it, and you eat on a covered patio with heaters. Food is delicious. We had pastas, pizza and the free Garlic Knots for Checking in on YELP! The service was fast and friendly!! I'll be back!!

Pesto Italian Craft Kitchen continues to impress with their terrific pizzas, pastas, salads, and paninis. I've returned several times since 2021 and have had several different items, including a most recent Pistachio Burrata Pizza with imported prosciutto and a garnish of chopped pistachios and arugula. The pizza's crust is fantastic and offers great texture and flavor. The milky mozzarella cheese with the prosciutto is bliss. I liked that they were not heavy-handed on the balsamic but drizzled just enough to bring the pizza together nicely. On a previous date, I had the gnocchi Verona with pesto, bacon, cherry tomatoes, and mushrooms. If you like gnocchi and pesto, this one is a winner. New on their menu for spring is the vegetable calzone filled with fresh crisp vegetables and harvest pear salad. They are both wonderful.A while back, I had the Prime Steak Panini with a delicious and juicy prime flat iron steak. The panini comes with "Prime steak, pesto, banana peppers, provolone cheese, pickled cucumber and arugula" (Pesto Italian Craft Kitchen, 2024). This panini is a must if you like steak and paninis. It's a winner! One thing I love about Pesto Craft Kitchen is that every time I return, they seem to be elevated their food to new heights.

Wow ever since they moved from El Cajon to Mission Valley I have been extremely disappointed in the service! The "man" that works as the cashier is completely rude and disrespectful every single time I go, he seems to be racist. They didn't have one thing that was included in my order so they didn't make anything and I had three items. Also my salad that didn't include meat, they added prosciutto after I told them I was a vegetarian. They severely lack common sense and customer service skills. I will be letting everyone I know to stay away from this location. We'll have to find a more authentic Italian place and that will be easy.Vegetarian options: Put meat on my vegetarian dish.Dietary restrictions: Put meat on my vegetarian dish.

To Clarify, I placed the order via the Pesto App, not through a "third party" lol
