My go to place when I need vegan/GF pastries for work treats and gifts. Always a hit with them. Kindly greeted my first visit by one of the owners who gave me a complimentary birthday cake coffee - stupendous. Ambience is FABULOUS! Cute little cafe.

Everything bagel should have never been served especially after paying full price. They gave me two since they weren't made right...so instead of one disappointing bagel, they gave me two terrible bagels. Never again.

The owner was so cool, gave me a military discount and told me about the local discount. Very nice as the place is tucked away but very open inside. Great people inside and a true passionate creator of the pastry arts or as he said pastry ninja. I will definitely come back and visit more.

My son and I come to Phatties weekly and we love it here. The atmosphere is super cute, always a friendly welcome and their pastries and coffees are phenomenal. The best gluten free and vegan options in San Diego. And there’s always a great selection.
Walked upon phatties, from the beginning they were very welcoming. The owner is extremely nice and the samples of their pastries were delicious. The coffee does not disappoint! Cute spot to visit, highly recommended.

Phatties was a pastry recommendation from a cousin who lives in the area. Let me say that the aesthetic of the place is a 10/10. The service was also great and I have no complaints whatsoever. I wasn't sure what to order so I got a cinnamon roll which was nothing short of delicious. My wife on the other hand got a strawberry cream biscuit and... well... it was DRY. I'm not sure if it was because it's vegan and gluten free but I had a hard time swallowing it.

Amazing gluten free and vegan options! I got a delicious gf vegan breakfast bagel sandwich and a donut. The staff was kind and accommodating, everyone who helped us was great!! Very cute little shop, will definitely be back next time I'm in town. Can't wait to try the gf vegan cinnamon roll!
I have a friend with celiac disease. Other Bakeries charge a lot for mediocre GF goods. Not this place. Cake and cupcakes were excellent and well priced, my friend went over and purchased more items for his family. The Baker answers the phone and is really helpful. My new go-to place.
