Phatties was a pastry recommendation from a cousin who lives in the area. Let me say that the aesthetic of the place is a 10/10. The service was also great and I have no complaints whatsoever. I wasn't sure what to order so I got a cinnamon roll which was nothing short of delicious. My wife on the other hand got a strawberry cream biscuit and... well... it was DRY. I'm not sure if it was because it's vegan and gluten free but I had a hard time swallowing it.
I remember my first time going to phatties and having a great customer service experience from Hero. 3 years later and I can honestly say this is the best coffee shop and it has everything to do with Hero!

My son and I come to Phatties weekly and we love it here. The atmosphere is super cute, always a friendly welcome and their pastries and coffees are phenomenal. The best gluten free and vegan options in San Diego. And there’s always a great selection.
