Decent place to get a quick bite. The toro sandwich was a little too peppery. The chicken was a little dry but overall decent. For speed and convenience it's a good place for a stop.
Skimped on fries in the loaded El Toro fries. Super skimpy with the sauce. There isnt any hidden underneath that little bit is all you get which is crazy. At least throw a togo cup of sauce in or do better than a tiny spoon of sauce.
People around me kept telling me to visit this place, so I really wanted to try it. I finally went, and I have absolutely no regrets. It's impeccable. I wish there was a place like this in L.A. The atmosphere was wonderful, the BBQ was delicious, and the service was friendly and excellent. This is a place I definitely want to visit again when I go back to San Diego. I can see why it's so popular.
