The salt and pepper wings are a must have! The PHO is good, but I am a lifelong customer because of the wings. All visits to town require a meal from here. If you miss these wings, you have lost at life. You have been warned.

Food was ok. Prices weren't too bad.
I ordered the pho special. I was satisfied with the amount of meats, tripe, and tendon. The broth I felt like was watered down.
I also ordered the cha gio and was extremely disappointed that it was lacking in meat. It was like a veggie filled Chinese egg roll. And I hate the Chinese egg rolls with a passion.

TLDR: The interior space is well-decorated but the staff and menu items need to be improved.
The space is clean and inviting. However, the staff need to work on their attentiveness to guests and ensure that all orders are brought to the table as requested. They stayed at the front of the restaurant a majority of the time and it was difficult to get their attention without getting up from the table. My extended family members and I ordered a bit of everything from the menu. Beverages were brought out first, food arrived after fifteen minutes or so, one main dish was was missing until I mentioned it to the waiter, we asked for dessert to go since we felt that the food was mediocre. The noodle soups on the menu seemed to have the same soup base. The Phở and Bún bò Huế broths tasted the same. Neither having the distinct depth flavor we are used to compared to other restaurants that specialize in making them. I went a second time and ordered the Bánh canh aka Seafood Udon Noodle Soup. Based on the soup flavor, I confirmed the soups here are mostly if not the same with subtle tweaks. I wish the menu item had fresh seafood instead of imitation crab meat. The Soda xí muội was refreshing with a hint of salt. The Virgin Mojito was okay. I loved that the beverage was packed with stems of fresh mint but it would be better if the leaves were muddled a bit so that the mint shined through.
Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are clearly labeled on the menu.
Parking: There is plenty of parking and there are designated handicap parking spaces in front of this particular location.
Kid-friendliness: This space is kid-friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: This space is wheel chair accessible.

We tried the shaking beef with garlic rice and egg roll appetizer. The rice is super dry and doesn't have any garlic flavor. The beef was decent but also with little flavor. One person ordered their beef medium well and it came out very rare. Overall, not bad but not planning on going back.

Restaurantji Recommends
IDK why this place isn't rated higher. Seems like it used to be understaffed and people complained about the service? Anyways the food is superb and has a greater variety of menu choices than some of the other pho restaurants I've seen, like that meatloaf that comes with the grilled chicken dish. Their prices are wicked cheap too comparatively. Definitely my go to spot for now especially if its just take out.

This build has been occupied by several restaurants. The food is overpriced. If you drive down to Mission Gorge about 5 min away, there is a place called SuperBowl Pho which is much better. They have award winning Pho. Cheaper and better. On another note, Pho Ca Dao on El Cajon Blvd is worth a visit (Caution: It's a dangerous area). This location is regarded as one of the best places in San Diego for Pho by locals. There's an old saying, "Go back to where you came from!" Keep Pho cheap and the environment gritty and you'll shine like the dime you are Pho Ca Dao!

Really good food and very friendly service. We had the broken rice with salmon and grilled tofu and veggie phở (bone broth...they have vegan broth as well).

Great atmosphere, and the service was awesome. The short rib was amazing. You bite it, and it falls off the bone. Also, I recommend the passion fruit mojito. Nice low-key restaurant in Mission Valley but high on quality.

How can you run out of chicken wings on a Monday night when there's absolutely no business at 5:00pm.
Poor management skills, might as well actually be closed like it says you are.
