I'm in Vietnam and just went to the US to work and visited San Diego to visit. Accidentally heard the introduction of the restaurant. Tried it and found it had a good taste of Hue beef noodle soup (a little more spicy for a similar taste). There are all older aunts and uncles here, so the service will not be like modern, Western restaurants. But I like this style ? Came by the restaurant and tried beef lemongrass noodles. It tasted good to me and reminds me of Vietnam flavor though it's not 100%.The staff are mostly adult immigrants and speak little English. Their service is not excellent and professional but intuitive and very old school. But I really like it! Very tranditional Vnese service. I don't mind waiting a bit more or taking a wrong order as I understand from their immigration background. Not fancy but that's why I like it. Best Vietnamese food at a reasonable price in town. Definitely a go-to. Ask for Linda, Linda Vista Linda. She is wonderful!

I had ordered food for pick up on my lunch hour and never been here before. I was on a time crunched, so I ordered the pho soup. It took me like 20Mins to get here and when I arrived they said they only take CASH!! I was like seriously I had only my debit card with me. I told them I wish they would have told me on the phone it's cash only! I was not happy and now I had to rush to a different place to get food. So heads up they don't take any kind of cards!!

This place is seriously so cheap and good. The pho flavor is like every other solid pho joint but it's just way cheaper. I ordered a rice dish too with egg rolls and grilled beef and it was delicious. Service was quick and they were nice

Was enjoying the food here for the past six months UNTIL they I was asked to pay a second time as they said they added the meal up wrong. They ended up charging me for two large plates when I originally ordered and ultimately received two small plates. When I asked why I was up-charged, they said “it was an old price”. This is false advertising and predatory pricing.

Not recommended. The server never smiled, my food was cold, and my egg rolls tasted funny. The chicken soup and fresh spring rolls we ordered had pork in it. As mentioned in other reviews, they only accept cash. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy.....unless my worst enemy likes cold funny smelling food and bad service...then I would send him somewhere else as I wouldn't want him to get what he wants.

We had a pho and vermicelli bowl. Pretty good. There's definitely better places so I don't think I'd personally come back but it's alright.
I came to ask a question, they said: one? And I was like.. I want to ask something, I don't want to eat. One of the people in charge started making signs of leave and, disappointed. So if you are not eating there, it seems they treat you bad.

I've always come here once they open to have some pho to reverse my unwise decisions the night before. Always enjoyed the service. They are very pleasant. I usually get the number 1 Dac biet large bowl with fresh lemonade. Always hits. It is CASH only so keep that in mind.

This place only accept cash and don't have an ATM service inside. You have to go to a nearby Mexican store to get cash! The lady who seated us was rude and lacked customer service skills. I believe it's because it's a family business, so she doesn't care much. The food was okay, but the vegetables that came with the Pho had dirt on them. Overall, I don't recommend this place. The way they serve coffee is unpleasantly yuck!!!! No lid!!!!Take a look at the picture!!!
