Authentic Italian cuisine with Southern CA vibes. CacioEPepe with polpette was a favorite. Try the Pinot Grigio rose' it has a fabulous apple bouquet!
Vegetable Pizza is amazing!! Gluten free:) Service was perfect, great cozy restaurant. I would return in a heart beat!
Loved this restaurant. The service was great from the start. I have a gluten allergy and the server was able to tell me all my options and what the chef could do for me to accommodate my allergy. He was very knowledgeable on my allergy, which made me feel very safe to eat here. The food was outstanding. I had the calamari and a gluten-free pizza. I'm definitely going to be a return customer as it's so hard to find authentic food that has gluten-free options. My spouse also had lobster ravioli that he said was fantastic. Can't wait to come back.
I love this place! We had a party of 9 and everyone loved their food. With 9 people they were able to bring everyone's food at the same time. Amazing. The service was impeccable and they are really nice here.
We throughly enjoyed our dining experience and we will be back. We had Barata appetizer followed by Caesar salad. Then we tried the lasagna and lamb ragu pasta dish. Everything was very tasty and delicious!
I'm not sure why pickled not salted anchovies are served w cesar salad and pesto was a bit soupy. Branzino was dry volcano was good
The best pizza I've had in a long time. I typically avoid gluten but this pizza didn't bother me at all. They mentioned using Italian flour and I think that's the difference. They do also offer gluten free. Felt very authentic Italian. Fabulous service
Nice restaurant and being able to sit in the patio is definitely a plus. The service was great and the food good. Will definitely come back.
Neat spot and great find due to a rehearsal dinner invite. Food was served family style and pre-selected by our hosts. They made delicious choices coupled with the friendly service made for a special night and prelude to the memorable weekend.

Everything perfect. Great service ! good for all the occasions from a date night to dinner with friends
I was impressed with this spot. We had 4 adults and a 5 year old. We wanted to walk around La Jolla cove and then grab pizza. It's a nice restaurant that has more than just pizza! The pizza we delicious as was the Branzino. Highly recommend this spot- love their outdoor seating too.

An absolutely incredible dining experience in La Jolla!
From the moment I walked in, everything about this restaurant exceeded expectations. I arrived about 30 minutes before my reservation, and they didn’t hesitate to seat me early. The staff immediately made me feel welcome, offering friendly conversation and even bringing out a few appetizers while I waited for my other half to arrive.
We brought our dog, and the team had no problem accommodating us — a huge plus. Our server, Blake, was absolutely outstanding. He struck the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth, checked in just the right amount, and made excellent recommendations throughout the night.
I tried three different wines and was impressed with every single one. The Margherita pizza was perfect — you could taste the quality of the ingredients and the oven-baked finish. The seared octopus appetizer was tender and flavorful, not chewy at all — truly one of the best I’ve had. I finished with the fusilloni pasta, which was rich, comforting, and beautifully presented.
The ambiance was top-tier — the temperature was perfect, the lighting just right for a cozy and intimate dinner, and the overall atmosphere had that effortless elegance that makes you want to linger a bit longer.
Between the food, service, and atmosphere, this place hit every mark. Blake and the entire team made the night special from start to finish. Without a doubt, one of the best Italian dining experiences I’ve ever had in La Jolla. Can’t wait to come back!

If you are in La Jolla and feeling Italian food, this place is a must. Fantastic fresh food bursting with flavor, excellent wine selection and the staff are amazing. Focus on the chef specials with fresh pasta offerings. Had the ravioli which was actually light and killer and the meatballs which were incredibly rich and moist. The tiramisu should be illegal. Excellent high end Caesar salad. The burrata caprese simply could not have any more flavor. Just amazing. Frederico took care of us and added to the experience by focusing on us and not rushing the experience. I’d come back to La Jolla just to eat here. Thanks to the whole staff for making our night.

When sitting outside you're only view is of a street in LA Jolla that people are driving up and down. If you move to the back, the courtyard has a little more appeal. Bathroom placement is interesting.
