The Cottage never disappoints. Manager Jason is a terrific ambassador. Staff are always polite and professional and the food is top shelf.
This place is amazing, the food was delicious, atmosphere so cute and relaxed and some of the best service we have had in years! Definitely our new go to spot; nice to know places and people like this diamond still exist!

Based on the reviews, The Cottage La Jolla is a popular brunch spot. The food is always fresh and delicious, with standout items like the traditional breakfast, French toast, and Stuffed french toast. For those with dietary needs, it is a gluten free brunch heaven, with really good gf toast and a snickerdoodle muffin that was insane. The food is outstanding, with every bite fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere is charming and cute, though the location is on a busy corner and parking can be tricky, requiring street parking. The restaurant is usually busy and packed on the weekends, with possible waits, but guests can walk to the beach or get coffee in the meantime. The service is attentive, quick, and friendly, with a staff that clearly cares. The Cottage is one of those rare places that consistently gets everything right, standing out for its consistency, hospitality, and commitment to excellence. It is a staple in San Diego breakfast.
