Best sandwiches in San Diego. Consistently awesome product. And appropriate prices! And the owners are the kindest people! 5 stars all around!

My veggie sandwich was awesome. This place is on a third floor of this downtown area with a nice terrace to enjoy the outdoors! Thanks

I would give Plaza Deli 10 stars if I could! I ordered breakfast from Plaza Deli on 2 separate days for business meetings. We ordered their breakfast burritos on day one and eye openers on day two along with some fruit for about 20 people. Such crowd pleasers! Cindy and David were so kind and provided the most amazing service. If we are ever back in San Diego for a business meeting, we will definitely be returning!

Was visiting from Chicago and just looking for something fast. Surprisingly really, really delicious Reuben and amazing service. The owner came up to us before we left and was the sweetest woman. She said they've been there for 33 years. I can see why, for sure. Also fyi, super yummy sandwiches and very large, like my bf and I both have large appetites but probably could have split one sandwich! Each took half to go when we left.

This is the best Deli in Downtown San Diego! The food is delicious and fresh. Cindy is always cheerful and welcoming! Can't go wrong here.

Amazing. Super fast and super delish. We split a salad (each half was bigger than anyone else’s whole) and a #30 Executive. Yum yum. So stuffed.

Best deli spot in Downtown hands down. I work in the area & was struggling to find a good place for lunch until I stumbled across this gem. All the food is delicious & the service is always fast & friendly. The dining area is more excluded on the third floor which is nice because you get a break from all the homeless & tweakers in the city.

Had to get breakfast AND lunch today to hold me over until their Grand Reopening in mid-June! The absolute BEST service and BEST food out of all the downtown deli's.

This is a little hidden gem in the Wells Fargo building downtown. It's excellent for those who work in the building for quick and easy access to breakfast and lunch items. It also has a nice large outdoor patio area that's perfect for a sunny San Diego day. What I particularly appreciate is the friendly service, especially Elena at the register as she remembers people's names for that personal touch.I will say that prices have gone up and the size of the breakfast burrito seems to have gotten a little smaller but understandable and in line with all other eating establishments. But the burritos are still large and it usually covers me for both breakfast and lunch. As I mentioned, they are super fast! Not only with placing your order but the food prep as well, I'm usually in and out within 5 min. My personal favorites/recommendations:- super burrito (breakfast)- Italian sun (lunch) They also do catering which is perfect for office lunches or events. Check them out!

The food is delicious, the portions are generous and the hospitality is out of this world. Cindy and Dave treat everyone like family. Great place to eat!

Amazing quality, service, & price. I love coming here during lunch. I usually get their chicken salad sandwich & their soup of the day but I decided to try something new today & opted for their Wednesday special (loaded baked potato). It was delicious! The prices are also very reasonable $9.75 for this giant potato with chili. They do charge you 50 cents for credit card but bring cash if that bothers you. You can also order online & pickup in store most items, not the daily specials though idk why. It would be cool if we could order ahead the specials.

The bacon and egg omelette had full slices of bacon that the plastic knife couldn't cut through. I've been eating omelettes for decades and never experienced this. I recommend the cooks chop the bacon or get it on the the side.
