One of my favorite restaurants in San Diego with vegan options. Delicious vegan Thai food ♡♡♡☆
I am so lucky to live within walking distance. The three of us had 2 appetizers (Cheese Wontons and Thai Crispy Rolls), 3 entrees ( Duck Pad Thai, Duck Fried Rice, Chicken Yellow Curry), and 2 desserts (Mango Sticky Rice and Banana Caramel Cheesecake Egg Roll).
Everything was perfect. The flavors amazing. We were too full for dessert but HAD to try them, and ate them right down.
No wait. Excellent service. Booth inside. Can’t wait to go again.

I really like this place. I've been going here since 2018 and went vegan at one point. Parking isn't much of an issue if you go midday, we often go around lunch. The food is delicious and very filling, and the drinks are refreshing. I highly recommend ending each meal with the sticky mango rice if you have the room for it. This is a staple in University Heights and everyone should come by and visit when they're in the area.

Food was amazing but the service was lacking. The hostess was rude, and did not offer any insights.

I got Eggplant dish, spicy noodles and basil fried rice. It was flavorful and spice level was just right( you can choose from 1-10 spice level)
Wasn’t oily, enjoyed it and can see getting my family here for good vegetarian Thai food

Great vegetarian options.
Fresh food. Tasty.
Plenty of veggies to choose from.
Can substitute rice for extra veggies for low carb watchers.

my boyfriend and I were looking for a gluten free place to have lunch since I have celiac disease. When we googled gluten free Thai food this place popped up. However we were incredibly disappointed by our waiter’s lack of concern for my dietary restriction. I had communicated that i followed a gluten free diet. When I had questions about the menu our waiter seemed annoyed. I asked if they had gluten free soy sauce and he brought us a bottle of regular soy sauce (which contains wheat). I ordered the spicy noodles with mock chicken after he said that the dish and the protein were gluten free. However when the dish was brought out, I had a weird feeling that it wasn’t entirely gluten free. At this point I didn’t want to inquire with our initial waiter due to his attitude. My boyfriend called over one of the female waiters and she was very friendly and attentive. I asked her if the dish that was just brought out was actually gluten free and she told me that the mock chicken was not gluten free. If I had trusted our initial waiter I would’ve gotten very sick.

I’ve been a long time customer of both Plumeria locations with this one being my favorite location for many years. Always have had a positive experience with them and the food is always been top notch.
However over the last 4 years they have been in heavy decline in customer service and the biggest problem being their attitude towards customers. It’s become unwelcoming and a bother to the employees to say hello how are you doing today. Absolutely unacceptable, people like me who spend over $60 to eat here should be treated with respect and dignity for our patronage. Fix this problem immediately because the people are the ones who made you popular.

I was driving by to another appointment when I spotted this place. They do have fresh Thai food that’s both vegetarian and vegan friendly. I enjoyed their mixed veggies with eggplant. My wife had a noodle dish with fried tofu which we split. It was a large serving. I had to take some leftovers home.
Parking is a bit busy in that area when I went but it’s a nice area to take a walk afterwards. The service team was very attentive and we didn’t wait long for our food.
