Delicious food, great service, never disappoints!
We were on a search for excellent Osso Bucco and found it right here! Mushroom ravioli was so flavorful also! Great service early on a quiet Sunday suited us to a tee!

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging, providing a positive energy throughout the restaurant. It is known for great Italian food and has been a neighborhood favorite for over 10 years. The food is terrific, featuring dishes like the Halibut/pasta special, calamari, mushroom ravioli, and linguine di mare. The lasagna is excellent, and the restaurant is famous for its orrechieti with sausage & broccoli rabe. A recent visitor enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs, while another loved the Capellini Mari E Monti. For dessert, the delicious chocolate bread pudding and complimentary tiramisu for special occasions add to the experience. Pomodoro is generally busy, so making a reservation is recommended for a wonderful meal. It will be a required stop for anyone visiting San Diego.
