About Ponce's

Ponce's is a well-known Mexican restaurant in San Diego, recognized for its tasty dishes and lively atmosphere. The enchiladas suizas are praised for their exceptional flavors, and the chile relleno is light and creamy. Customers can also enjoy the flavorful quesadilla suprema, with some preferring the soft version over the fried one. The food is consistently high quality, tasty, and fresh, with the steak quesadilla being a popular choice. The restaurant's margaritas, especially the Cadillac margarita (the big one), are highly recommended to complement the meal. Service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is enjoyable. Ponce's can get lively during peak hours, but the safe neighborhood and ample parking make it a convenient spot for dining. The restaurant has also proven to be reliable for catering events, providing great food, presentation, and friendly service. Recently, customers praised the taco happy hour special, calling it crazy good and cheap, along with outstanding chips, salsa, guac, and queso. They also appreciated the vegetarian beans and rice, cooked without lard or chicken broth, and called the burrito the best they’ve ever had. Ponce's catering for a nacho bar at an anniversary party was a big success, with excellent ideas, timely service, and everything needed to make the event smooth. The outstanding food and service made a lasting impression, and many look forward to stopping in for great food whenever they can.

Ponce's Mexican Restaurant there is absolutely nothing. nothing HAPPY about Memorial Day. Can you be any more insensitive to the families who lost loved ones in combat?

Haven’t been in years so decided to go. Place was packed and my friend and I were seated outside and it was a great day but the food What Happened the taco shell was like Taco Bell the ground beef was just dripping in a red sauce So disappointed won’t be back 😥

First time there, first time in San Diego. Was told about this place from a local. Glad we asked, delicious food and atmosphere. Definitely will be on our to do list when we return.
