“This location gets a high volume of people ordering and only 3 employees. The manager Jonathan was cooking and helping mediate any wrong orders. He handled it professionally and kept his composure despite the long lines and order corrections. Folks should understand that most places are short staffed and are trying to take care of everyone despite the miscommunications. The food was fresh and all 3 of the gentlemen working stayed busy the whole time. I hope their employer appreciates their hard work.“

“I think Popeyes is the same every where you go. The same quality and crispiness in the chicken. Now, service may differ but to me, it’s how busy they are. There always seems to be a line at certain locations. Also not all locations honor the Tuesday deal.This location in the morning was empty for dine in. It was clean.We got the signature wings, ghost pepper wings, fries and the limited strawberry biscuit flavor.My fiancé said the signature flavor was better than the ghost pepper and it’s not spicy.I had the biscuits and one was enough. It was heart shaped with frosting on top and bits of strawberry throughout. More of like a dessert. Dipping it with mash potatoes balanced out the sweetness.“
“The food is good and the service is good. But they keep playing one portion of one song over and over and over again. It is so annoying. I'd rather not have any music at all than keep listening to this little portion over and over. It never changes. Not even a whole song just a portion of it, over and over and over again. It gets to be very annoying.“
“Had an issue with my order and when I called the manager Marianna, she was super polite, understanding and professional. She took the call and actually apologized and rectified the problem with minimal inconvenience. This was a good hire for Mira Mesa popeyes as prior service was not up to par.“
“I've tried most of the popeyes in southern san diego, and this one stands out as the one with the best tenders. Spicier, crispier, fresher, just better. It's my 4th time so they seem rather consistent. Service could be better, but it's better than the popeyes just a bit further east. In any case the tenders are GOOD.“
“The people working seemed to really get along well. Michael, the cashier, treated me nicely, gave recommendations, and was very patient as thought over my options. And the food was remarkable. Fresh. Hot. Spicy. I will definitely be coming back.“
“Very good food, but the price inflation is getting unfortunate. (My favorite combo meal is $15 now) The drive thru line can sometimes be long, but the food is always hot and fresh. The red beans & rice and cajun fries are the best sides imo, though my kids would vote for the Mac and cheese.
Their blackened chicken is also good, but we usually have to park and wait for it. It's fresh though and worth it if you have the time“
“The chicken was so delicious and fresh and steaming hot! The best I think I've ever had at any Popeye's location.
The only reason why I gave only 4 stars overall was because of some lingering individual in the men's restroom blocking virtually the urinal and the door to the stall. Apparently he was texting/browsing on his phone & acted like I wasn't there. He saw me, but didn't move. After a few seconds of that, it just seemed too weird, so I left.“
“Came by for a quick snack post ? Easter and went through the drive through. Anyone ever working in Easter I give props to, both employees were super nice and service was quick.I only gave the food four stars bc I thought the Mac was small for the price but that's not the people that's Corporate ? anyways.Love that chicken from Pop Eyes“
“I don't know what it is about this particular location, but the food here is the best. I went to the East County location, and the food was no where close to the food here. Same exact order, but totally different. I'll keep coming to this one.“
