Listen here, if you spot a sand-colored Toyota GR86 in the parking lot outside this Primos it means your food is going to be delicious. Someone who works at this Primos drives this car, and every time they are working the food is amazing. The tortillas are perfectly toasty, the order is always correct, and the contents are cooked and distributed to perfection. I've ordered all kinds of **** here, and this person always nails it.
To the legend who drives the Toyota GR86, thank you, you are my hero. Also, great color choice :)

Food is overpriced and menu can be absurd, food is often lacking flavor or just too greasy.

I had two carnitas tacos that were pretty plain and lacking of flavor. I also had a fish taco that would've been better with some extra seasoning. My husband had a burrito that he really liked.

La comida le falto zason. El servicio muy serio sin un saludo. La admosfera. Pues fue. Drive through. The food was ok, but it has lack of seasoning. Service is not as friendly as other places. Atmosphere, well. It was a drive-through.

Primos turned into another low quality, greedy restaurant chain. Quality and portions are unimpressive.. laughable?
My Steak and Egg "Monster Burrito" was mostly potatoes (they didn't even bother to remove the skin). There was hardly any steak or even eggs for that matter and no guacamole. 0/5 stars. Not the quality I used to know 15 years ago.

Forgot my large Pepsi that I paid for, forgot sour cream in my burrito and gave us ONE hot sauce when we ordered multiple things!! When I called the lady wasn’t helpful at all and said “we can come back any day and get our soda” wow thank you for offering a soda that we paid for and never received!! Also worse food ever. This place should go out of business. Awful food and even worse customer service!
But one. Mulita. But. They gave it to me with 2 Pieces of. meat l

This used to be my go to for good Mexican food. However, lately the food has been NOT so very good. Be price has gone up and the portions have gone down. Ordered 4 carne asada burritos and I would be shocked if there was 8 oz of meat between the 4 of them. Also the quality and taste are now 2nd rate at best. I have been very disappointed the last several times I went in. On the upside the reseraunt is clean and the staff is quite friendly and courteous.

The "Monster Burrito" is pretty big but not Imperial Beach big. The Adobada and carne asada are ok, at best. Tasted old. They were not up to par with how they market their menu. I did however love the album vinyl prints they had inside of the restaurant for sure with Tupac, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, etc. holding a burrito in their hand, though that could be an infringement of copyright laws but that's above my paygrade.
