Terrible experience. Four of us dined on a Saturday night and we all had a similar experience. Our waitress was not very mindful of the fact that our table was not set with silverware, so we requested what we needed. Our main entries also arrived before our appetizers and, believe it or not, before our silverware. We had to ask the another staff member to please bring us utensils. The food was warm, but undeserving of a good review. The idea/concept of this restaurant is far greater than the reality. I love going out and trying new restaurants in San Diego, but will not return to Pueblo.

Pueblo is a lively and exciting spot for modern Mexican Food in Pacific Beach. Great food, beautiful decor and great service and margaritas. A must visit restaurant in the beach area.

The food was cold and not good. Steak was over cooked and rubbery. Drinks were watered down and overall not good. All the places we visited in our 4 days this was the worst. The reviews had me so excited but was less than impressed with cost and taste.

The food was cold and unseasoned. The margaritas were extremely salty and just not very good. We were recommended this place by a couple of locals and it definitely disappointed. I would skip it and find somewhere else to try.

Food has gone down hill since the last time I visited two years ago. Now it's just basic Mexican at best (tacos, enchiladas, etc.) maybe the drinks are better but didn't bother to try. Couldn't get past the food...

4*'s out of 5. Super cool vibe , food was scrumptious. the only thing , that grinded my gears were the microwave tortilla's. NO BUENO. They get hard fast. Need a lil char from the flame or griddle. I need my tortilla's with Mexican food. Lol. That's the only reason y I gave it 4*'s.

Our party of five had a very enjoyable meal at Pueblo. Our server was friendly and attentive, the menu provided many options, and the food was very tasty. My son and I enjoyed the molcajete, mine with meat and his vegetarian, and each was more than enough food for us with many flavors. Others had tacos and enchiladas and were happy with those choices. The restaurant interior provides plenty of space and has a calming feel for an otherwise boisterous PB. We'll be back.

We recently reserved the second floor patio for a private lunch of 40-50 people. Mark was really great to work with, especially with helping us stay within our budget and coordinating logistics. For the lunch itself, Grace, Meghan, and Dave did a fantastic job of helping to get the food set up, serve drinks at the bar, and keep everything running smoothly. We had a taco bar served buffet style, and all our guests really enjoyed the food and drinks. A major plus was also that there was no extra charge just to reserve the venue, which many restaurants do charge. We had previously eaten at Pueblo so we knew that we enjoyed their food, and we'll definitely be back in the future for both casual dining as well as parties!

I really enjoyed my experience at Pueblo. It's a super cute ambiance and great for larger parties! My only issue is the pricing on the margaritas... they want $15 for a tiny glass that is filled with ice so there is MAYBE 1 cup of liquid in the entire drink. Pretty lame for such a cool spot. At least use a regular size glass or margarita glass if you want to charge that much.

We four older adults had an excellent time on a Saturday night at Pueblo (especially after we figured out that the open table next to us would be quieter than where we'd been seated.) The wait staff was friendly, if in a bit of a hurry to have us decide what we wanted to order. The food was excellent. Dinners came out hot and fresh. Among the four of us, we ordered the carne asada plate, seafood enchiladas, chicken burrito, and the combination plate with a chile relleno and beef tamale. We all subbed the meatless refried beans for the standard beans with chorizo. There were no complaints. We also shared two desserts, the churro sundae and the flan. The latter was a bit of a disappointment: The menu said it came with caramelized bananas, but those were nowhere to be found on the plate. Perhaps they were pureed into the flan itself, but in that case there wasn't enough to produce a banana flavor. The flan wasn't as smooth as it should be, but also not chunky to make it clear there was fruit in it. That item needs a revamp, or at least a menu revision. All in all, we left happy and would definitely return to Pueblo for dinner.

I ordered the Puerto Nuevo style lobster, it was very very bland and chewy definitely not worth $48. My husband ordered the mole, also very bland. My daughter ordered the pozole which was also very bland. The drinks were okay nothing special. The oysters were very good. Atmosphere was nice.

What a gem. I actually came here to meet some friends and have dinner and wasn't expecting much. Boy was there a huge selection and I got the seafood enchiladas they were delicious. So tasty so very very tasty. Soon as we got there they gave us a generous supply of chips and salsa. The meal was very substantial I didn't finish the whole thing. I got a bottle of Cabernet that was delicious absolutely scrumptyumptious. The whole visit didn't break the bank. I wouldn't say that there a bargain but they certainly aren't overly priced you get what you pay for definitely.

The food as always was delicious. I usually get the fish tacos and guacamole. The margaritas are great, potent . Service as always excellent. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in San Diego .
