PURE Cupcakes

It’s awesome that they have multiple vegan options but unfortunately the cupcakes taste like bad cornbread and this is coming from someone who loves cornbread and cupcakes 😞💔 Updated from previous review on 2025-01-01

Disappointing experience overall. Overpriced, poor customer service, underwhelming cakes and cupcakes for the high price. I paid 80 dollars for cupcakes and another 80 for a small chocolate cake. No one at either party complimented them, and even most of the kids did not finish their cupcakes.

Absolute best cupcakes and cookies we have ever had! I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat. We don’t usually like cupcakes, but this completely changed our minds. The salted caramel and coconut are our favorites. We’ll be going back again tomorrow. Fantastic and the service is spectacular—can’t wait to order more for my daughter’s graduation.

Pure is the best! We ordered a sweethearts cake and mini cupcakes for our wedding and they were absolutely INCREDIBLE. All of our guests loved them. We weren’t planning on cupcakes but after our tasting experience we couldn’t decide on one flavor since they were all so delicious. The mini cupcakes are the perfect way to get a variety of flavors! We rented displays from them and they delivered right on time. Everything was seamless.

Wife and I tried their salted chocolate chip cookie, double chocolate cookie (I think that's what it was called), and a couple of their cupcakes (I think one was their smores, the other was sone kind of toasted vanilla cupcake). We were really disappointed. The cupcakes were really dry with the only good part being the frosting on top (the caramel in the frosting was pretty good). The cookies were disappointing too- also very dry! And the salt on the chocolate chip cookie was just way over the top making it far too salty.

Best cakes in America!!!

As a self-proclaimed sweet tooth, stepping into Pure Cupcakes was like entering a sugary paradise. From the moment I laid eyes on their array of cupcakes, I knew I was in for a treat.The gluten-free salted caramel cupcake was a masterpiece of flavors, with its moist crumb and perfectly balanced sweetness. The hint of saltiness elevated the caramel to new heights, making each bite a delightful experience.Equally impressive was the strawberry cupcake. The light and fluffy texture of the cake paired beautifully with the rich strawberry frosting, creating a harmonious blend of sweet and tart that left me craving more.

......wow. Unbelievably amazing cupcakes that don't break the bank! I have had Suzy cakes, and Baby cakes (Hillcrest), and these somehow blow those both out of the water. It doesn't make sense how these cupcakes are that good. The flavor is something you've never had before, and the combinations of flavors are unreal. I don't understand how they made them so good and we will 100% come back for more!!!!!

We had PURE cater our wedding with a small cutting cake and cupcakes. They were amazing and got rave reviews from everyone. We look forward to visiting their store soon to have more cupcakes.

Have loved PURE from early days in PB! Best flavors and textures...frosting is galactic goodness! First time traveling to new Del Mar location. So many favorites, I can't narrow it down! We need more privately owned, beautiful tastebud quality treat stores like this one!
