I always get a veggie burrito, sub cheese and sour cream for extra guac or beans. It's delicious. I get it every time. I get it so often that they should name it the vegan burrito. It's sooo good. The shop is packed at 10am on a random Monday. The salsa options are expansive. The tortillas are fresh. I miss it so much. There's nothing like this burrito in Salt Lake City.

Ramon's Taco Shop has been serving the community of San Diego for sometime now. I was in the area and decided to have breakfast, so I ordered the bacon and eggs breakfast burrito during their $2 off happy hour from 8 am to 10 am. The burrito normally coast $13 but I was able to get it for $10 and some change.
It's a great deal and they do not hold back on the ingredients neither. The burrito came thoroughly filled with scrambled eggs and a very good amount of bacon. I like that the bacon pieces were large. The eggs however, could of used some seasoning. It was a good medium size burrito.
I had it with two of the red hot sauces from the salsa bar. The bright red one was fire and very tasty. Actually, both were very tasty. The service was friendly and welcoming. The young lady at the counter was very nice and helpful.
This is my first time ordering from this taco shop and I order carnasade nachos, I'll be honest. It was one of the best I had in longtime.

I have eaten at Ramon's a few times. Solid spot for a fix of SD mexican food! I'm in the area at least once a week and if I'm ever craving some street tacos this is my place. Solid value with a variety of options for meat and salsas.
I did the Barria tacos most recently and my only hang up was I didn't get more!! The staff here is friendly and as quick as they can be. Sometimes it gets a little busy, but hey, that's a good sign right?
Also, they have a wide variety of drinks including jarritos and horchata.

Man this place has it all! I started things out with sharing a hot Cheeto burrito with my buddy and it was fire! My friend got the spicy shrimp plate and loved it! I tried one of the shrimp and it was good. Me and my buddy also shared the surf and turf fries and the carne asada was so flavorful. We all shared the pollo asado nachos and chicken was so flavorful. Also they have churros !! Restaurant was clean and the cashier was helpful. Definitely coming back here!
