A perfect spot for a casual yet sophisticated dinner. The menu offered a great variety, and I decided to try the grilled sea bass with roasted vegetables. The fish was tender and flaky, cooked just right, and the vegetables were perfectly seasoned. The wine list had excellent options, and our waiter’s recommendation was spot on. The ambiance is relaxed, with just the right amount of background music to enhance the dining experience without overpowering conversation.
Great spot for casual Mexican food. Staff is super nice and portions are large and fairly priced. Plenty of space to sit and ample parking as well.
No bathroom for customers. Stale tortillas. Salsa given to you in small containers. No choice of salsa. Food sloppy. Ordered a dinner plate. Won't be going back. Too bad. I like to support local. Not this one.
This place is severely underrated. The food was VERY authentic and the music and vibe felt like a family taco shop. We came here expecting mediocrity and were blown away. I don't live in SD but have traveled and lived in South America and Mexico. This is so far the best local Mexican place I've been in SD - better than the 4.6 rated locals spot last night. That's what I mean by underrated.
First time trying the place with the boyfriend the food and service was amazing. I would definitely come back here next time we come through San Diego
What amazing personal service you get at this restaurant. You get all the right options like Mexican guacamole or creamy guacamole. They even let me try bitria yet for the first time tonight, and gave me a little container to go. I'm now a big birria fan. Can't believe I waited this long to try it! I just moved to Santee and this amazing restaurant is now the only place I will get my Mexican food from. Sometimes being stubborn about trying new things and new places really leads to you missing out.
I ordered a California burrito and was pretty disappointed. The fries and carne asada were overcooked and didn’t taste fresh at all. For the price, I expected way better quality. Overall, it just didn’t hit the mark. Definitely not my first choice and probably not my last, either.
Must try fish tacos!
Easy access to the freeway love the food good quality, reasonable prices

it used to be good, but after the 'inflation' the prices did go up, it s really good, always got the fish tacos here, but the taste really depends on who makes them. Never had a problem with service or atmosphere here.

I came here for lunch with my coworkers. The lady taking our order was very nice and helpful. I got the chicken taquitos for lunch and a carne asada burrito to-go for dinner. The taquitos were so good and crunchy, the carne asada burrito was huge and had lots of flavor. Not to mention the three different salsas they had, each salsa had its own unique flavor and was very good. The price for the portion and quality was good as well. I'll definitely be back!

$9.99 beans tostada! ? Never again. The 2 other taco shops in Rancho Bernardo have better quality food & prices IMO.
Solid and consistent
My go-to neighborhood tace shop

Good vegetarian options for mexican cuisine. We had quesadillas and burritos and both were tasy and filling.
