Their Carne Asada is bomb. I always get a carne asada burrito with extra carne and cheese. Fire. The green hot sauce is tangy and bomb too. It could be a little more spicy but I know not everyone likes that, so they make it more mild for people.

A perfect spot for a casual yet sophisticated dinner. The menu offered a great variety, and I decided to try the grilled sea bass with roasted vegetables. The fish was tender and flaky, cooked just right, and the vegetables were perfectly seasoned. The wine list had excellent options, and our waiter’s recommendation was spot on. The ambiance is relaxed, with just the right amount of background music to enhance the dining experience without overpowering conversation.

This place is severely underrated. The food was VERY authentic and the music and vibe felt like a family taco shop. We came here expecting mediocrity and were blown away. I don't live in SD but have traveled and lived in South America and Mexico. This is so far the best local Mexican place I've been in SD - better than the 4.6 rated locals spot last night. That's what I mean by underrated.
