Not AYCE! They said they recently changed ownership. The edamame was undercooked, the miso soup was cold and overpriced, the sushi was plain and mostly rice and cream cheese. The beef gyoza was the only good thing. I also ordered salmon teriyaki and sat their waiting for it and when I finally asked about it, I was told they weren’t sure if I had wanted it. What?? Ask!Awful. Never returning. Would never recommend.

Very delicious sushi place, been meaning to try it out ever since moving into the college area and glad we finally did. The prices seemed a little steep while ordering but once the food came out I was very astonished at how much food came out. We ended up ordering 4 rolls for two people just because we didn't eat most of the day but if it had been a normal day we probably could have barely finished a little over two. Our sever was very nice as well and I enjoyed the music in the restaurant as we ate.

The food was utterly fantastic. Apparently they are closing sometime next week permanently which is a real shame. The poke nachos are amazing, the menu was easy to understand and pick from, and the wait staff were incredibly sweet. I am very much lamenting losing this place.Kid-friendliness: Very sensory friendly place

Decided to check this place out while we were visiting. After we went, I was slightly disappointed. The fish didn't taste like it was super fresh. We tried 4 different rolls and they were all what I would consider sub par. We also tried both the Veggie and Shrimp Tempura. The Shrimp was actually really good but the Veggies did leave something to be desired. We also tried 3 hand rolls. The California and Tuna were both really good, but the scallops were not one we would order again. They tasted like they were stored for someone before serving. We did really appreciate the service. The staff were really friendly and quick.

I came here because I received a 20% off coupon in the mail and wanted to try this place out! The server was really nice and was able to let me know which sushi rolls he preferred. I ordered the 6 piece sashimi (salmon and tuna), dynamite roll, lemon roll, and kryptonite roll. I think this was the worst sashimi I've had to be honest. I personally don't like it cut so thick and it also tasted like it got recently defrosted. All the pieces were also really stuck together i don't know what happened there. The rest of the rolls were not that good. I think these are on par with Costco or Safeway sushi but again for the price point I guess I can't really complain.I know they're trying to make it affordable but I feel like too much of the quality was sacrificed for the price. I would just go to another place if you prefer quality over price.

Highly recommend to come eat at this sushi restaurant. It used to be RB sushi but now is under new management with similar food. Great prices and great quality food. You can taste the quality of the food. May I also include the great service provided by the whole staff and always attentive with all the customers.Parking: There is only about 8 parking spots available and one disabled parking spot.

I'm happy that this place was taken over from RB Sushi. I was so sad to hear that RB was not bringing back AYCE sushi. Thankfully the previous manager took over and actually opened up this place. Same concept. Same great food, but AYCE is back!!! Love that the owner is also incorporating themed nights and events to bring people back into the establishment. I hope this sushi spot continues its success. Only complaint (same as RB sushi use to be) is you have to be EXACTLY 1hr+ seated before closing for AYCE, even if you're seated 55 minutes before closing, it's too late and you won't get AYCE :(

Went in for some sushi. Entered it was apparent they were short staffed. The guy behind the sushi counter said, " it will be 15 minutes". I replied "ok I'll just have a beer while I wait". He said, NO I said it would be 15 min ". It's almost as though they didn't want customers and certainly not when they get busy. I know places are scrambling to get workers but at least take a class in customer service. 1 star is for that. Never got to the food.

I've never reviewed any restaurant until now. This was the worst tasting sushi I have ever had. I thought the Sushi Delis in SD were the worst but honestly I'd order Sushi Deli (not even the combo) over this. I couldn't finish the Kimmy and Yellow Sub rolls. They looked so good but my stomach hurts eating them. They taste horrible, fish and rice. The spicy garlic edamame is great tho if you just want edamame.*Update* I have food poisoning today from the sushi I ate from this place last night. I will not be eating sushi for a while and it is my favorite type of food.

Ordered delivery on a weekend night and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food! The Yellow Sub roll was fantastic and was our favorite roll we tried. We also got eel nigiri and yellowtail belly - both were very good. We spent about $100 on delivery for 3 rolls, 2 nigiris, spicy garlic edamame, and poke nachos. I'm sure it would've been less if we did pick up instead.

I've been here three times and haven't been disappointed at all. The sushi is fresh and tasty, and they have a mix of traditional and creative rolls and plenty of other options as well. I always come for the sushi and I've liked everything I've tried so far.

Haven't been there since name change, went for all you can eat. Loved the new owner's personality, loved the food, and loved the service! We'll be back.
