What a way to go down hill. Food is meh. Service is horrible. Our server was curt, not personable and not helpful. This was previously one of our favorite places. So disappointed.

Beautiful place loved the vibes. Sadly the service and food were super disappointing. Wouldn't go back and don't recommend especially for the price.

The food is pretty good. And reasonable prices for a “ trendy” establishment. The hostess was pretty ambivalent about us being there. Actually, “frosty” would be apt. Our waitress was similarly non-engaging. The emphasis seemed to be on fast food, not dining. Wine service consisted of opening the bottle on an adjacent table, filling the glasses, and plopping them in front of us. We were in and out under an hour. Enrique and another busser/runner were very friendly and helpful. The loud Euro/Techno/Rave music is not our vibe, but that's just a matter of preference. It could be a good gathering place, especially for groups of 4/6/8. There was just zero hospitality, except from the aforementioned bussers.
My wife and I returned here for San Diego Restaurant Week. After being seated, our servers were immediately very attentive and wonderful. Placed our prix fixe Restaurant Week order and looked forward to an excellent meal. Appetizers were delicious. When our entrees arrived, I noticed that something was missing from my dish, a sweet plantain or two (or three). I questioned it with the person who brought the plates to our table (not our primary server), but he insisted that they were not included. I asked to see the special menu again and he immediately went off to get it. Before his return, our primary server came to check on us and I mentioned the missing plantains. She immediately double-checked their menu, confirmed that I was right, and brought me a full order bowl of those little beauties! Simple mistake by the kitchen team, and our server fixed it quickly and generously. Overall, our entrees were fantastic! Then for some reason, it took a while for our dessert churros to come out, but when they did, they were wonderful! Luckily, we were in no rush whatsoever. Love Red O and look forward to returning again.
Asked for our fajitas with no bell pepper which waiter sad was ok and we had tons of bell Pepper. I asked for salt and never got it. Asks. Do an extra plate and it came 10 minutes later. We asked several times for extra water. It was super noisy. Food was ok but nothing special. Same with margarita. Server was very nice but order screwed up . No apology for messing up two orders out of three. Sigh.
For what I thought was just going to overpriced Mexican food in San Diego, I was truly impressed with the ambiance, the layout, the FLAVOR. The food was truly remarkable. Tried it for restaurant week and will definitely return. (The whole point of restaurant week)
While the food was delicious and our waiter was so nice, the people who delivered the food ( not the waiter) didn't serve things the way you expect in a fine dining restaurant- they basically dumped plates in front of us , and ran away— very odd. The food, as I said was delicious- I had the queso fundido and the seabass which was a small portion but cooked perfectly- with excellent chimichurri. The experience was largely a fun time, and we will return... but you instruct the servers better, please? One more thing- the restaurant was freezing- we all had to wear our jackets- do you have heat? On my reservation I requested the warmest table in the restaurant- but that must have been too much to ask.
Checked out RED O for Brunch. Good choices. Food was ok.
Smashburger is tasty.
Poke Tuna was bland needed more flavor and marinade.
Chopped salad was fresh and tasty.
No coffee options. Which would have been nice.
Staff was friendly.

Omar was beyond exceptional. His attention to detail truly stood out and made the experience outstanding.
Didn't love their brunch options. No specialty coffee drinks. Flat soda. Food was a bit bland. We ordered the poke tuna which was not very flavorful at all and was on a bed of something that appeared to be ground up tortilla chips. Chopped Salad was basic. The waygu burger good. Our server was nice.

Kandance Wells in event planning is AMAZING!
She made my graduation dinner the best ever! I told her what I needed and she made it happen. Moreover, she is such a beautiful person. Her spirit is so sweet and fun! I am happy to know her. I am already planning my next event with her.

The server was unpleasant! He seemed to resent our request to lower the music and we had to ask twice to receive a coffee that had been ordered as soon as we were seated. I won't be back
