Richard Walker’s Pancake House was a nice breakfast stop during our time in San Diego. It’s located in a prime area. We were able to park nearby and take a short five-minute walk down to La Jolla Cove afterward, which made for the perfect morning. The restaurant itself is clean, bright, and clearly popular with locals.

Now, I’ll be honest… the neighborhood is very homogenous, and being the only Black family in the restaurant felt a bit underwhelming....

This is was absolutely the best breakfast place I've ever visited! The food was amazingly yummy, the service was top notch, and the atmosphere was very chill and cozy. Thank you Amanda for serving us and helping me navigate how to eat my german pancakes!!! Will be coming back next time we're in San Diego!!!

We have ordered a apple pancake, baked omelette and a California chicken Sammie. Sammie is just mid but other 2 are amazing. Amazing service. I liked the stained glasses interior. Amazing coffee
