everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious.

got the salt & pepper tofu bento for lunch at medium spice level — it was delicious & had a good kick.

tried several of the milk breads & pastries - love the classic cream, matcha, and the spicy curry roll.

also got a strawberry matcha drink that was delicious but a little bit too sweet.

can be a little chaotic sometimes as they’re still setting things up, but a nice spot to have in the neighborhood & very friendly owners.

I asked for the sweetest out of the hard sparkling tea. I was told Blueberry Insight. I loved it! Strong blueberry taste with a hint of lemon and ended with lavender note.

I loved that they have up to 3 sizes so that you could get a taster or flight. 5 ounce was enough for me.

The matcha oat latte was creamy and delicious.

The owner, Stew from Salt & Butter came out with samples of Japanese French Toast. I loved the sweetness and crispy edges.

This is a nice space for all the Japanese collab. Expect free parking to be a pain. Pro tip: park in the parking structure for $1 an hour or $5 max and call it a day.

My friend and I tried 4 different drinks - all three hard sparkling tea and midnight in Tokyo (hazy IPA). Blueberry insight was the sweetest out of all three and was my favorite. However, they were not my cup of tea. The owner was present and talked to the customers. He gave us a sample of Japanese French Toast. It’s fluffy and sweet but nothing special. It seems like they are still in the process of getting the place ready though. We saw a consistent flow of customers so i assumed their food was good? I’ll prob go back to try their food items.

A new spot in the center of North Park offers a great experience. They have curated drinks from Embolden Co and vegan dishes from Sipz, alongside a regular menu with separate kitchens for vegan and regular food. My husband tried three different beers: All I’s On Me, Adventure Seekers, and Midnight in Tokyo. His favorite was All I’s On Me, but he also enjoyed Adventure Seekers. He even bought some beers to take home. The friendly waiter noticed I didn’t drink alcohol and kindly offered me a matcha sample. I love the atmosphere here and will likely return to try their food.

Was out an about in the neighborhood and after seeing some posts on social media decided to give this new addition a try and pop in for a late morning treat. I ordered a Matcha and a Japanini (because saying that is so fun!). I'm not a matcha expert but I enjoyed it and the sandwich was delicious.

The manager was so nice and welcoming and shared the details of the location's switch up and some fun things to look forward to. He recommended a beer tasting while I waited.... anyone who's not sure about the idea of a Matcha IPA: Try It!!! It was so light and refreshing.

I'm happy I stopped in and will definitely be back!

The Rising Sun Collective is taking over Sipz location. I stopped in during regular business hours for a Yelp Elite Week, but I also purchased some eats off their menu for the purpose of this review, not to mention I was hungry and the menu items looked tasty.

I ordered the chicken karaage at $9, which included 4 pieces and the pork pop stickers at $8, which also included 4 pieces. The chicken karaage was very good. The breading was very tasty and crispy. The thigh meat inside was very tender. They Japanese spicy mayo or Kewpie was tasty and offered a mild heat.

The pop stickers were very good, too. These were deep-fried. I prefer them pan-fried, but for deep-fried pop stickers, they were still quite good. They came with house dipping sauce, which was very good.

The service was very good. It was friendly, and the place has a very cool casual vibe.
