Bertos burritos are always good...I will have to try them another time with guac on the side. Ordered a carne asada and a carnitas burrito. I think the guacamole and pico, which were good, made the burritos a bit soggy. It's possible if we ate there it wouldn't have been an issue, but we drove a few a minutes to the OB dog park to eat them. I like carne that's a little chared and I couldn't tell that with the moisture...so it could just be my tastes.
This is a great place for when you get a Mexican food craving. I grew up eating here. I've moved out of the state but my husband and I come here whenever we're in San Diego.
I normally don't trust most any small owned Mexican run fast food type place but I grabbed a taco there the other day and it was one of the best tacos I've ever had, and I grew up eating Mexican food and I actually make tacos at home at least 3 days a week so I was really surprised how delicious their chicken tacos are They're so good that I've been back many many times and I'm sure I'll probably go there again today, They're salsas are also...
