We stopped in after looking at the menu from the sidewalk. Staff is amazing, welcoming and accommodating Alec was exceptional from good recommendations to his service he helped us make great choices overall excellent experience

Matteo made me the best drinks! And he’s so cute lol on topic the food was amazing. I’m a Sandiego native and I know my food. It’s in the heart of Sandiego. You guys have to come here.

Fabio our waiter was fabulous. Attentive, professional and gave great suggestions. Food was fabulous. The bruschetta was recommended, and was absolutely the very best I’ve ever eaten. The four of us each ordered something different and everyone loved their entree! I highly recommend Romanissimo to anyone in or heading to San Diego! Don’t miss it. You won’t be disappointed!

Don’t recommend, Would never go there again.

- Very loud, can’t hear a thing, even hard to make your order and hear the servers.
- food is so mediocre and very small quality expect the pastas- which is basically flour.
-no bread on the house; bread and olive tepanade- bread was hard and just 4 pcs
- bruschetta just 3 pcs and no taste at all, soggy, worst ever had
- artichoke hearts -3pcs, $23 was ok.
- carbonara was ok
- margherita pizza was a disaster- worst pizza ever had. Not sure how this place gets 4.7.

Everything else we ordered- ravioli, sea bass, lasagna were mediocre.

Service was bad- didn’t refill water, when asked for water didn’t give water with ice. Didn’t even ask us.

Obviously they got 20% tip as we were party of 8.
