I've been on the hunt for a good Chicago Dog served with the proper style of fries so I could stop driving to Moreno Valley to go to Portillo's. I am very happy to report that my hunt is over. Rosati's gets everything right on their Chicago Dog. They don't split the ends, they don't use a toasted baguette instead of soft poppy seed bun, they have the right amount of celery salt, and the perfect flavor and shade Kryptonite Green relish! I am shocked that I drove by the place to get to Kaiser and never knew I was passing the door to Chicago Dog heaven. I will be a regular at this place when I can have a cheat meal. They also have great Root Beer and Cream pop if that's your vibe.

I tried Rosati's Mission Gorge Rd for the first time - outstanding meatball sandwich. Just moved back here from Pittsburgh where there are local pizza places with fantastic pizzas and sandwiches everywhere, I didn't expect to find a place here that would compare. I found it! This meatball sandwich was right on, giant meatballs that had to be cut down just to fit this sandwich in my mouth. Nice tang to the marinera sauce, and had it my style with black olives and jalapenos - whew San Diego style baby! A good sandwich must have good bread - this was lightly toasted, and nicely dense inside - a perfect match for this type of sandwich. Served hot by the very attentive Nicole! Can't wait to try the pizza. Thanks Rosati's!

Great service. As a former Chicagoian, the beef is on point. Giardina has a nice kick. Waffle fries were crispy and tasty. Will be coming back again soon.

Everything with my order was fine. Flat bread pizza okay and pizza sauce well seasoned. Waiter was a bit sassy, but that works for me. Deep dish pizza our friends got, well that looked like a thin crust dough shaped in a deep dish pan. Needs improvement. No stinkin' Dodgers should be on the TV when the Padres are playin'! C'mon it's San Diego for crying out loud, not L.A.!

The Chicago style dish pizza we're excited to get wasn't all that. The crust tasted like a cracker and the topping of Italian sausage we could hardly find on the pizza. It was hidden in the sauce which was okay. There was only two tables there when We got there. The server was very friendly but very slow we waited for everything for pretty long time. A very long time. She was very nice sweet no complaints on attitude Just the waiting was very very long. Not that many tables to be busy about. The harvest salad was delicious with the dressing I think it was a apple cider dressing very delicious. That probably was a highlight. Was that dressing. Was recommended it by the server and it was good. The Chicago style dog was okay.
