A true neighborhood treasure. The baked lasagna tasted just like a trip to Southern Italy, and the scratch-made sauces are incredible. It’s the perfect, cozy spot for a dinner dateβ€”just remember they are closed on Mondays!

If you want genuine, scratch-made Italian food in a cozy neighborhood setting, Rosina's is the place to go. From the moment we walked in, the family-owned atmosphere made us feel completely at home. The handmade pastas and traditional sauces are out of this worldβ€”you can truly taste the Southern Italian roots in every bite. It’s perfect for a nice date night or a family dinner, just remember they are only open for dinner service!

I eat at Rosina's often, and it has become one of my favorite spots. The Italian food is excellent, with a large menu and some great nightly specials. I'm partial to the pasta vongole and veal piccata, and the homemade lasagna is always a solid choice. Rosina and her sons are warm and welcoming, and the hospitality makes every visit feel special. We love sitting on the outdoor patio overlooking the park, it's a setting that's hard to beat. Tuesdays are no corkage fee night, which is a perfect excuse to go. Highly recommended for a relaxed meal with quality Italian cooking.

The food was cold, including both the soup and the lasagna, which was disappointing. It gave the impression that the dishes had been prepared in advance and simply reheated from the refrigerator.

I had to send both the soup and lasagna back to be heated. Unfortunately, they did not replace the plate or bring a fresh dish; it seemed like the same food was just reheated, possibly in a microwave or oven. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Heard about Rosina's from a friend while on a business trip. I can honestly say one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. The staff was amazing, the owner came by the table and helped walk up through the menu, and the food was incredible. I went with the lasagna, per the owners request. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area!

It's a small, cozy Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. The owner was very kind and took the time to walk us through the menu and today's specials. The food was excellent! We were a large family, so we were able to sample a variety of dishes. Both the calamari and the cod were particularly good. They have a cute courtyard area where you can enjoy good food and wine with nice San Diego weather!

Rosina’s Italian Restaurant has been in business since March 2013, and I recently visited for the first time! This beautiful restaurant is nestled within the lovely community of Del Sur, just west of 4S Ranch. The building itself is impressive and once inside, very thoughtfully and elegantly decorated and appointed. My first impression was this is a standout place and I’m so glad I dined here. The staff were all so welcoming, friendly, and personable. We were even visited by Rosina herself as she delighted us in a tour of the menu and answered questions.

I started with the Burrata alla Panna, served with heirloom tomatoes, which was outstanding. Most places just call this one β€œCaprese”. For dinner I had the Lasagna which was excellent! House made pasta sheets layered with meat Bolognese, bechamel, ricotta, mozzarella, and Romano cheeses. Served bubbly hot and beautifully baked off on top, just how I like it. I was impressed by the number of thin, delicious layers that went into their lasagna. I look forward to visiting again soon and cannot recommend Rosina’s more highly enough!

Excellent service. They messed up our granddaughter's pasta order by adding meat but they did apologize and took it off the bill. The food is very good. A bit noisy but it was a Saturday night so that was expected. We would go back.

Rosina's seems to be a favorite for the neighborhood its in. Food was just ok. Drinks and wine selections were very good. Seems to gather an older crowd. I am not certain we will be back. Worth a try.
