Ordered online for an immediate pickup. I reached rubio’s 5 min before promise time and the food came out right as I arrived. The food was hot and fresh.

I called on Tuesday and asked the price of the fish taco on Tuesday. Employee said $1.75. I walked in one minute later and the same employee said it was $2.50. She lied.

Just ordered an original fish burrito and the fish was cold, I ate it right away too. Now I know why I stopped coming here.
Tossed it in the trash and went somewhere else.
How are they still in business!

Trio Tacos was yummy.

We ordered from Rubio’s for takeout, and overall, the food was great! The tacos were fresh and flavorful, the burritos were well-packed and tasty, and the salsas added a nice kick. However, they missed our soda, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the quality of the food made up for it. Would order again, but double-checking the order next time! 🌮🌯🌶️

We recently visited Rubio’s on Friars Rd. in San Diego and ordered the steak street fries. Unfortunately, we found them to be quite overpriced.
For $11.99, we received a small portion consisting of a handful of fries, a few pieces of meat, and some chopped tomatoes.
While we understand that inflation and rising wages can affect prices, paying $12 for such a small portion of fast food seems excessive. This experience didn’t meet our expectations of what fast food should be.

This place should have been included in the Chapter 11 closures. I have gone out of my way to avoid this Rubio's location, even though it's a mile from my house, because of repeated issue with food quality and order mess ups. Every single time, in the last 6 visits, they either messed up my order or the food was so bad, I had to throw it away. The last time I picked up takeout, I called the manager because one of the items in my order was wrong, another was missing. He told me he would issue a refund. The refund was never issued. Today, I accidentally ended up with this location delivering my food from their app. Their app defaulted to this location given my address, and I didn't catch it before I placed the order. Once again I was appalled at the level of disgustingness they delivered. My bowl had BROWN, SLIMY lettuce in it. It only had about 8 small piece of chicken. The bulk of the bowl was rice. The guac was brown. I am now never using the Rubio's app again, nor would I ever set foot in this location again.
