I just had a horrible experience in Sabor de Vida! I waited 20 min to my picanha plate and when I got was cold! Just 1 server and 1 cook I asked for a new plate that I waited more 15 min and was ok and the server told me that there as not a Mc Donald's!!!!! So after all this when I asked for the to go plate that I ordered in the begging they said was not ready they forgot about it!!!!!!

The BBQ platter plate was a really good portion. Between two of us, we couldn't finish it, and had enough for a whole second meal! Everything was cooked perfectly. I like the texture that the accompanying farofa adds to the food. Hubs enjoyed the black beans a lot. Yuca fries--I'm a sucker for these anywhere, and the ones here were hot and crispy, and I ate the whole order up even before my food came out. But, they're a bit pricy, IMHO. I order the passionfruit mousse for dessert, but, felt like it was a bit much for just me. Hubs wasn't a Mousse kind of guy. And although pretty good, I may not order it again just because it was a lot for one person, and you can't really take it to go bc it was served in a glass.

I wasn't impressed. Felt the same way when they were in Encinitas. Empanadas were dry. Service was a bit slow, but we did have a large group. Restaurant was comfortable. Picanha acebolada was good.

We were looking for wedding food that was delicious, exciting, and unique. This is exactly what we found with Sabor. We received nothing but compliments from our guests about the food and the service. Rafael was so helpful every step of the way. We will certainly be visiting the restaurant again, as well as using their catering services.

Located on the side of a strip mall with plenty of parking available. No reservations are required. Tvs are available to watch sports games. Menu is steak driven, but there are options for vegetarians. Went for dinner and had the cheese bread, plantain, fried yucca for apps. Steak is tasty and juicy. Caipirinhas were good and different flavors available. We each had 2. There's a happy hour also.
Sabor Brazilian Grill was an OUTSTANDING vendor for our wedding! Their catering services are beyond 5 star – Rafael and his staff were the most amazing, genuine, and reliable group of people we had the pleasure of working with to cater our big day! The food was delicious – we are still getting compliments from our guests months after! The quality of the hand-passed appetizers, Brazilian BBQ (cooked onsite), and all of the yummy sides was top tier. The food set up and presentation was very professional and Rafael’s team was able to accommodate some of our special requests to match our wedding design. Rafael’s team was also able to staff our bar & cocktail hour service for the event and they exceeded expectations. We can’t say enough good things about them – everyone was punctual, enthusiastic, beyond friendly, and extremely organized which allowed us to just enjoy our day. We recommend Sabor Brazilian Grill catering services to anyone – the whole package was beyond what we expected. THANK YOU RAFAEL!!
